  1. Navionics Gold + ..Great Lakes and Maritimes should cover it all. SD-14XG This card provides detailed coverage of the entire Great Lakes (Superior, Michigan, Huron, Erie & Ontario), St Lawrence and the Canadian Maritimes, including Lake of the Woods, Rainy Lake, Lake Champlain, Trent Severn Waterway, Ottawa River, Rideau Waterway and the Finger Lakes.
  2. Gotta work that casting arm up slowly in the spring...
  3. I'm just curious if the ingredients stay the same each year ! Maybe we should compare the formula... LOL
  4. Dang.. missed another Cliff..
  5. DANG Glen.... looks like you should fish from shore more often !! Great fish !
  6. A good idea Pete.. but if it went to Quebec it was probably already there before sunrise. I figure someone's eyeballed Terry's place for awhile and checked it out a few times to see what was locked and how to leave with it. It's local and stripped.... or hidden away destine for a back country camp. The only thing that may turn up is the trailer abandoned.
  7. Great stuff Ryan ! Almost missed this post amongst the rhetoric!
  8. Okay Terry.. printed 5 copies of picture and model/serial # and off to the local dealers/repair guys for their bulletin boards. Doubtful it will be helpful... but better than another kick in the nuts for yah.
  9. AWW MAN say it isn't so ! Serial/model number etc Terry and I'll drop copies/pics off at the local shops. Oh.. and please tell me it was insured for theft...
  10. I hope Joey's at least getting free shipping Matthew !
  11. Great work Kemper... but ya might wanna count again ! LOL
  12. Was going by the fact your location says Ottawa/Ontario
  13. I'm curious ...seeing that they noted the power use reduction for the hour... if anyone noted how much the spike was after the use reduction. The reason I ask is I wonder how many did exactly like barbless fisher did and used power packs during the outage..which of course have to be plugged back in to charge them up. Some great bonding time spent with Grandchild none the less.. and you can't put a price on that !
  14. If you're gonna use one.. make sure it has a swivel head.
  15. You're right Kyle.. but we've gotta watch how far we cross our own line that we're not appeasing the PATA people (spelled wrong purposely). The muskie vid is Wisconsin and some native americans to boot. I guess when it comes right down to it.. if you're out for food and not catch and release how you get your limit doesn't really matter IF THE RESOURCE can sustain it and the law is written to allow it. (which it is in both video cases)
  16. Yes the walleye spearing is in Quebec joco... but I sure hope you aren't using a spear gun or spring gaf to do your spearing while in Ontario or you're breaking the law. Hand spear is legal for white suckers and carp only. Spear gun is illegal to even posses for fishing..so if you do so in Quebec I hope you store it there.
  17. Thanks for the news WM... I meant to post a heads up the other day. Noted that when the new BPS catalogue arrived last week it has the Down Easter Salty S10 rod holders listed now at $34.95 US ... yet they are still only $23.99 CDN in the Vaughn store. If you want a set... you'd better grab them now as I bet new stock will have them up $10 a piece.
  18. One thing I'm surprised they don't note in that news brief is the fact that it appears they have made Manitou Lake a sanctuary for the month of January and it never was before. I only know this as I was researching it for my s-in-law that has purchased a campground on Manitou, that she is taking over the end of April, and was pestering her that if she expects to survive the winters she should look into renting out the cottages to sledders and ice fisherman.. and get her "hubby" to start building some huts.
  19. Thanks Dan.. I posted the details so others don't get caught with this. Paypal and Ebay are one and the same now, but have two different policies. Lulled into a false sense and waiting period based on Ebay stating you have 60 days to dispute.. yet Paypal is 45. Who cares about Ebay flagging the guy... you just want your funds back from Paypal ! 45 days isn't enough time considering how slow parcels are moving across the border these days in both directions.
  20. The squeaky wheel... got my claim initiated. It was at 51 days...
  21. One beer won't be enough bud !
  22. If you kiss the Mermaids (or any other species for that matter) you can get Beaver Fever. No different than drinking untreated water.
  23. Ugly... but legal.
  24. Great stuff Mark ! One happy camper there...
