Depends what you wanna fish for.. Zone 6.. 'eye's open 3rd Sat May..pike all year...Lakers 4th Sat May..lots of year round brook trout lakes.. and will depend when the ice goes out too... Still making ice at night many places North of Nippising.

Hookset.. BRP's main outboard motor plants are in Sturtevant, Wisconsin... but their small motors/components/parts and accessories are manufactured in Juarez, Mexico and Electronic parts and small outboards in Dongguan, Guangdong, China.

Most rock piles up the east shore.. Beausoleil Island National Park...The Penninsula of land between Penetang and Midland Harbours (= my yard), Three Lakes campground south of Parry Sound and darn near everywhere else from Midland to the French River.
