  1. Will this one do....
  2. Yah.. good luck with that Bill !! lol
  3. Just remember.. if it has it's own motor it becomes a boat and has to meet all regs. But if you tie your tinny to the side and pull it around with that... it's just a barge.
  4. Thanks Stan !... and thanks to everyone else that has donated as well and stayed quiet ... I know who's ya is ! lol
  5. "I'm going to bed with my "Sure wood" tonight for sure" ! Ron = priceless.
  6. Thanks lads for your support... it's extremely appreciated and Jen is pumped for her fund raising walk. Peter.. THANKS! for the accom offer. Jen actually should be living downtown and her Doctor and Surgeon are at St. Mike's. The Toronto walk and the Barrie walk are on the day she has to be a brides maid... so she picked Richmond Hill's walk to participate in as it's on a different weekend. ON a side note... one of your cohorts just left here... and Air Canada pilot that is. Robert White.. a 320 man.
  7. G my lawyers flat fee is $600. Everything else is land transfer tax and deed registry.. title search fees from the town involved etc.
  8. All I can tell you is that it still works. I plug it in and the only air flow getting to it is from the fact that the hatch is sitting on the cord to plug it in..so it's open a very small crack.
  9. Lake Erie
  10. Like I said in another post... there are many other worthy causes to donate to and Cancer research tops the list. I lost my father to cancer at 59, Dave, and I sure hope your don't lose yours to it. Sounds like he's a fighter and I truly hope that he scales the + side of the 50% probablility like a mountain climber.
  11. I was brought up to be a giver.. not a taker, even though I'm not sure how my parents even kept us fed. Dan, I truely appreciate your caring/concern and taking the time to pass this forward to the list. I told Jen I wouldn't do it for her, as like I said... not the way I was brought up. I don't want anyone to feel obligated to donating to this cause. It's a worthy one, but there are many more out there just as deserving and funds only stretch so far for people. Give only if you can and truly want to... don't do it because it's me. (not that "me" is a worthy reason to do so anyhow) Wayne
  12. Brakes on them Chevys suck !.. and why safety chains are so important on a trailer.
  13. Seriously... like many here I've headed towards plastic trays. Makes it easy to grab two or three for the species you're after. Have a BOQ bag that holds 4 and my ice fishing bag holds 3. I use them to rotate a few trays into for different adventures. Got one holder in the boat that holds only two which was pretty lame on Lund's part. Thinking of custom making one somewhere in the boat that holds at least 10 trays.
  14. I just use the 12 foot tinny and tow it behind....
  15. Agree on a price in writting.. what's included..closing date etc and both sign and witness it....and go to the lawyer next to draw up proper papers. You'll both need a seperate lawyer.
  16. Now go out and catch him a great fish bud ! Your brother's got a nice shiny new boat waiting for the occasion !
  17. Water above the front bumper of my Sierra 1500 this afternoon.. going to the airport for parts.
  18. Where ever you've got a decent spot and where you can see the charge level lights. Mine's right in the bow with the batteries.
  19. Well you're not the only one Hun.... Bill M showed up proud as punch that he'd remembered his Team #5 Paperwork! lol
  20. That's why I asked where you clamped the booster cables.. if you put them directly onto the cables to the motor.. then your're looking from there to the motor for loose connection or starter relay connections/contacts being toast or the starter brushes as previously mentioned. If you put them on the battery lugs themselves.. not touching the cables to the motor.. then it could be the battery to cable connection. If you can't figure it out... bring it up and I'll trouble shoot it for you. Wayne
  21. Yep like Terry says.. if you had absolutely everything else turned off.. and you do't wear a pacemaker..it's the radio and a power filter isn't gonna help it. One other thing though... did you have a cell phone in use in the boat..laying near the radio etc. as I can't put mine anywhere near my portable airplane radio.
  22. Tell me where you put the booster cables to try Dave ! I had a couple gals in a boat towed to my dock this year with a dead boat. I slapped my booster pack on the battery posts and stil dead as a door nail. What I found was the Positive cable was perfectly centered on the threaded lug.. with enough corrosion under it and above it that it was making ZERO connection. With that cleaned and retightened it started on it's own battery. That don't work... hammer ! lol
  23. Yah I know Darren... it's a shame the tourney doesn't start 'til May 1st ! LOL
  24. Sorry... but I'm not going back to mock chicken cut offs, from my father's store meat room, under a bobber. Hard to keep on the hook and slimmy as hell !
  25. Nancy.. my mother's still alive... I don't need two ! Fishing went exactly as planned.. catching would have been a bonus, but compared to what most here were doing... well.. I slept through most of the night.. well except when I rolled onto either ear that is !
