  1. He's the only commentator that I can have the game on with my back to the TV and I know when to turn around for something good. Try that with any of the TSN mono tones.
  2. I saw 56mph on the GPS and 55 on the Smart Craft gauge... just before I blew the side curtain windows apart (3rd day of ownership! Warrantee replacement!). I wasn't anywhere near red line. The couple times I had the full top off I forgot to give it a good trimming run to see what it would do. Don't think it will make 60. I forget for sure.. but I think that's a 14.25" diameter prop.
  3. Well by going fishing Drew and not sitting at the keyboard !
  4. I'm sure Rob just left out the word pitch... but it must be a small diameter. My 275 is a bit OVER pitched with a 21" pitch Tempest
  5. Ya.. so do I ta, it's the only way....and why I've never understood the debate for fishing and non-fishing seperation... which this has absolutely nothing to do with.
  6. Hey.. this has nothing to do with fishing and no fishing sections John...
  7. I know this comes up at least 5 times a year.... with someone suggesting such a thing..... But I'm thinking not seperate fishing and non fishing sections, But.. How about a seperate section for most everything and another section for steelheading threads !
  8. Considering Transport Canada's over zealous Air Show "safety" requirements and the FAA's Homeland security nonsense for border areas ...amazed this is gonna fly ! Pun intended !
  9. Man Robert... that must be one light boat !
  10. The light gets lit from the battery voltage.. to confirm correct polarity. Give it time... it might come around. Once it repolarizes itself it will probably charge.
  11. My F150, with the tiny 4.6 litre Triton 8 in it, pulls my 22 foot Baron just fine. Boat/trailer/80 gallons of fuel and fishing gear gotta be up around 5500lbs. I don't even know it's there. Fuel consumption does.. but driving wise no issues. Of course the Jimmy has a short wheel base.. and that would be my fear as Gerry has pointed out when you need to swerve. Remember it doesn't take long to add up the weight. That boat's probably 1900lbs.. motor 650.. fuel 6lbs per US gallon..fishing equipment 400+lbs(oh.. only me..lol.. remember downriggers/planner masts/tackle boxes/supplies)..kicker motor another 125.. trailer 1000lbs or so..etc. The one thing I do when I can is to wait until destination to fill the tank.. especially with mine holding almost 500 lbs of fuel. Oh.. and don't forget to buy a set of mirror extenders. Nothing erks me more than people towing stuff and they can't see where they've been (ie if anyone is behind them/beside them to make safe lane changes and driving decisions.
  12. Mews Lake campground, in Algonquin, stays open all year.... at least it did.
  13. Thought you would have at least torn the power head part way down for an E RUDE shot ! LOL I've got my motors ready to go 2tone...but still haven't pulled the boat cover.... as I know that will just get me in trouble !!
  14. Ice breaker came into Midland yesterday and I've got a few days of work before I can play with the boat... so should be good by the time I can. Mike... call the number Kyle supplied. He might think he's in Northern Alberta... but his heart lives in Deep Bay Parry Sound! LOL
  15. Satelitte shows the harbour clear of ice...but I have some doubts. Hopefully someone can confirm that lives close by.
  16. Okay..next question.. do they have a season? Doesn't appear so in the OMNR guide.
  17. Well.. I've received no response to my Friday am email. Guess I might have to resort to ma bell...
  18. I think it's a Lund top Emil... but of course impossible to tell from here. Maybe the guy only ordered the top part. YOu are right.. no snaps on window pillar and none on the outside sports trac or gunnel. (can't tell if you have the outside sport trac slot). My top is made by Dufort and each section is tagged and has a part #.
  19. Any Lund dealer should be able to order you the matching parts.. should just need model and year.
  20. Sorry for the inconvenience Woodsman.. I'll mark you off my sense of humour list.
  21. I'm just surprised that he missed listing the guy that likes to keep his cork wrapped with plastic for as long as he can.....
