What Pike slayer said and also take careful note of the regs. Places like Temagami (Zone 11) that had year round pike seasons up until the end of 2007 DON'T anymore. Easier to just not let us fish for anything than to worry about whether we are fishing pike/pickeral or Lakers I guess.

NW of the ferry??.... maybe da fish are still out in the reach (East of the Ferry) where the biguns usually are. Dan and I... or should I say Dan... caught some smaller 'eyes NW of the Ferry last year though... between the ferry and Hay Bay.

Linweir.. if it's not accessible from the inside (ie foam showing) then you can't weld it (or you'll burn the boat up) and you can't solid rivet a patch either. I should have the required blind "tank" rivets though to make a leakproof seal and I do have the aluminum for sure. UMMM... there was a fall hunt this year! First one in history. Opened Oct 15th...not sure when it closed. And yes they are very smart birds with impecable eyesight and exceptional hearing. I have a whole heard of the ugly buggers in the yard and they are off like a shot BEFORE you even open a door. Chances are you won't find the TE400/401 in Canada for less than $400 or possibly even $500 ! It is available from about anywhere in the USA though for $349 US.. but right now that = $415 or so Cdn.
