LOL Dave... just remember the 113 is not better than the 112 for use in Canada. The 113 just has more built in mapping of USA lakes than the 112.
As for the new one Smalliefisher... where does it stop! LOL
The fish finder part looks neat...but unless someone does some more hydrographic surveys of our Canadian lakes the mapping part is as good as it's going to get already. There are so many errors in the existing charting that it's pointless to upgrade at this point in time if you already have mapping on your unit. Dozen's of depth errors in yesterday's muskie troll alone...with places shown as 20 FOW actually 80 FOW...a few unmarked shoals in the middle of open water....etc
Getting out today crossed my mind big time bigbuck... but I spent it (and Wednesday) underneath a backhoe instead. Now if I could just get the damn thing to dig a hole... I'd bury it !
Dave.. call Bay distributors in North Bay and see if they have a narrow axle assembly. They built the trailer.. they'd know.
705-476-6010... ask for George..he's' the service manager. He may very well pass you off to someone else.. but a least a place to start.
As for cutting/welding... I'd have to see it first. Spring mount perches etc may be an issue to move the axle in on each side by 3 inches
George's email is [email protected] and their company website email is [email protected]

Sorry Pike Slayer... I gave you directions to one lake and it will be open again in 2011.
HD... sounds like the original lakes are totally closed to fishing and probably will remain that way. There is actually a third natural lake and it's Wilderness. All three lakes are up in the park... beside Smoothwater Lake. The "open" lakes are all stocked with the 3 year rotation of openings... that they close last minute generally ! lol
Got out on Georgian Bay today with GBFisher. Launched in Penetang and made our way out into the sound in the fog. What a beautiful day to be on the water!!! Misty to start out
but nothing compared to the exact same day last year when I had Lew out for 'skis.
We covered a lot of water...fished some wonderful structure... I saw some amazing stuff I'd never seen before, like herring so thick that they fooled the depth finder into think it was a foot deep vs the 80 FOW we were in.
We tried some different baits.. some purchased and some of GB's custom made baits. Came up with nothing but a sunburn!!
Can't beat fishing on November 6th in a T- shirt !!... and a beautiful sun set on the way back in.
Thanks for the company Andy and for doing all the "work" in the boat...oh and thanks a bunch for that GBFisher custom poured Perch Bait !!
Was open this year for the first time in ages in Zone 11... Lake just North West of Villiage of Temagami. Accessed by Red Squirrel Rd. Liberty Lake Was only open from Aug1 to Oct 15th. This lake is a sanctuary for the remainder of 2008 and ALL year in 2009. I don't see any other lake listed for fishing in 2009
Same deal in your Zone 10... I see two lakes that were open in 2008 and are closed in 2009
Boat away??? DANG !!! Ya missed a beautiful day on the water !!
Oh... that didn't help! LOL
Remember you can "winterize" and still use the thing !
I changed my engine and lower unit oils... antifreezed the livewells and power wash pump... plugged the inlets and now don't have to worry about anything while that nice fresh oil gets run thru my motor to coat it for winter storage.
OLFA knife refill blades epoxied to the leading edge of each board???
Is what I was determined to do, a couple years ago, when boxed in my an hole in front of us that took his boat out of gear and then turned and cut everyone off.
