Well Gerry... I hope you have better luck than I did. Figured what the hell... my truck was going in for it's 100K service anyhow yesterday. Complete service and inspection = road worthy in my eyes.. so have at her and throw a conformance sticker on it for me on the way out the door. So Monday my truck got the complete service.... was called and it was "ready to go but we didn't have a mechanic free to do the conformance.. so we'll do it tomorrow". No issue.. I had their loaner car! So what was supposed to be an additional $129.99 for that stupid yellow sticker turned into an extra $708 with tax. What was apparently "fine for the road".. seized emerg brake pivots wouldn't pass to get a sticker. So with that work and new rear rotors.. because they were a little of of round ... wth... that sticker got expensive. Now I've got the boat trailer going thru another shop monday morning and we'll see what that little yellow sticker costs me to add to this. Next round... I'll take the fine!... or I'm gonna put a 5 x 6 pup tent in the box of the truck and tell the cop it's my "motorhome" and I don't require all the comforts of home !!

Dave.. do you have the sport trac accessory slots on your Lund Gunnel??? If so.. drop by again.. I have a pair of the straight sliders and a pair of angled sliders.. both with ram holders... that I never use and will part with for minimal damage.

Well.. I wouldn't bother welding it at all... just have an aluminum doubler made up the next gauge heavier and rivet it over top. Get rid of the steel of course... steel + aluminum is like the plates of a battery and you're risking the erosion of the aluminum. Remember.. welds never crack.. the parent material beside the weld does... even in 4130 chrome moly steel.

I didn't get out to the hangar that early this morning. Was one on the end of the runway last night around 6pm as well...think it was a hen though.

The only place you can legally transport live fish is on the water. Once the boat is pulled out.. you cannot transport live fish without special permits. They turn a blind eye to the bass tourney guys trips past the weigh station with boat on trailer....

I'd imagine you'd be pretty p'd if they invoked a travel ban and your family was THERE !

I can't see the worth of the confrontation (sp?) ..... Also most legitimate marinas are paying water lease to the MNR or Oceans and Fisheries for the area their docks cover.. so technically it's like someone coming and camping in the middle of your rented apartment floor.

I'd imagine the bylaw is FROM their property line... I'd be finding the bylaw.. it's wording etc and using it to YOUR advantage. Your online petition will have absolutely no merit.. especially if the arcade complaint'ent is "connected". When you applied for the licence... is it listed right on the application where you were setting up shop? If so.. they approved it !

Buy a tape measure and measure it. It's your lively hood after all. If you're 245 feet.. move over 6 feet left or right and it's a non-issue.

I'd take Grenada.. or St. Lucia.. or Nevis.. or Antigua or Martinque .... over Mexico any day of the week. Trade it in.. Jamaica.. not on YOUR life. Wasn't overly save in '89.. less so today. It is the MOST beautiful Island I've ever been on though..

Note the stocked fish in Temagami have no fin clips... not that I noticed anyhow.. They seem to be all there..

If it's stocked.. it would be done by Helicopter... like all the lakes in the Temagami area are. Some are even done with the Beaver and it's amphib water bomber floats... fish in.. take off and then overfly the lake at 60MPH.. bomb bays open and trout away............
