  1. Another one converted! My lowrance starts acting funny around 11 volts and will shut off below 10.7 We mark our mini swivels in 80 to 100 FOW.. and the spoon.. and the trailer hook/mini tube as well. Three distinct lines on the graph. A whole new meaning to fish TV !
  2. Okay.. "wet" compared to heating with Oil or lectricity!
  3. Open you highest tent vent at all times. Nothing else you can do.. propane is a "wet" heat and why you don't need a humidifier when heating a house with propane.
  4. Read his post again..
  5. Very NICE Juli... but why did you take that Frank guy with you???
  6. Prize for the shortest "spot" landing !!
  7. There are.. you just don't find them at the debutante's ball !
  8. Really starting to wonder where some of you found your wives!! Here's Mine and Tybo's... and this is as "girly" as it got! -26C I might add!!
  9. They have a safety shut off based on heat output... if you turn them down too low which starts to = co2 they shut off.
  10. On the books as adding sediment/debris to a water body. At the discression of the person with the violation pad!
  11. Oh... now you're picky..
  12. I saw 11 pounders either in HHardware's site or CTC... I'll go look again! As for heating/cooking.. I bet they have a hard time getting water to boil for Mr. Noodles on the buddy. Also guys.. be careful with these "open flame" ideas. They all equal carbon monoxide at a higher level than using a catalytic sunflower style burner.
  13. Yes Jay... you just have to carefully turn the burner system 90 degrees from the way it comes out of the box. Then you can turn it where it attaches to the tank and you have a nice "cook" surface. A little trick that Ronny Reyns taught me!
  14. PLEASE buy them at Gramps!! Don't be bring them up from the Simcoe water shed. We've got enough invasives in Temagami already, we don't need anymore.
  15. 6 month post op check up yesterday. A long miserable day with Xray machines down, surgeon 2 hours behind to see her and the oncologist even leaving before he saw Jen..leaving a flunky behind to update her progress. None of that mattered by 7pm... with her Chest CT scan and pelvic Xrays showing "clear".. and kidney & liver functions still normal after all that high dose chemo. The drive home after midnight was another story.
  16. Late to the keyboard here Kelvin.. been sitting in Mount Sinai all day with Jen. This explains a dream/nightmare I had last night, but not of whom I thought. A tough blow and my heart is heavy, but consider she's not suffering anymore. If you need help with anything, you let me know ! Wayne and Leah
  17. Go get'm Mike! We were out yesterday, but got skunked!
  18. Terry has some spare.. slightly used.. underwear from Sunday if you're interested! LOL
  19. What's the retail on them.... I know a place where the waves grow bigger than the specks... that they'd work welll on tooooo
  20. I suspect that's a mud puppy! Yumm ! lol Thanks for the report!
  21. It's all you need and will charge them nicely and at the correct rate. If you want to make it pretty (if you're using a homemade case)... I think I still have some male and female black and red sockets and plugs around here to put on the case and cord. Otherwise just go into the Source or similar and get a couple alligator clips.
  22. Pull up your local municipalites website and you might give that some more thought. Life ain't what it use to be. Hell I think Temagami requires a building permit just to change a window! All renovations require a permit, re- roofing requires a permit.. the list goes on and on...
  23. Bill.. I'm sure you don't have to look toooo far around the house. You want between a 300ma and 750 ma x 12 volt DC transformer to charge a 7 Ahr battery. I use a 1000 ma one for my double 9Ahr's I use in my finder... it's the charger for my 10 million candle power flashlight. 300 ma to 500 would be perfect... and the general size of all those wireless link adapters that I'm sure you have access to many of.... REMEMBER.. once that green light comes on on those Aqua View, Hummingbird, Marcum etc "chargers" comes on that it doesn't shut off... it continues to BOIL your battery!!
  24. LOL Roy.. I even have the coordinates in my flight bag. Guess Mike was preplanning....
  25. Personally... I'd call from a payphone.. but that's just me!!
