  1. Yah it's a crap shoot.. my last shipment of parts, that I just received, was again only dinged for 5%, but the buggers in the Mississagua Customs facility kicked it around the warehouse from March 9th to April 4th costing me a customer that I promised finished goods for by March 30th. I thought maybe they thought my import was gun parts based on shape, but they didn't even open the box!
  2. It also appears if you ship to a personal "name" you get hit for 13%.. a business they only charge 5% GST... so give that some thought when you have the seller label your shipment "Billm Enterprises".....
  3. Yah.. but you love them black engines on the back of your boat Paul !
  4. Surely the fish know when to close their mouths...
  5. Exactly Rob... there's lemons in every batch. Rizz... you made a great choice.. run with it. Someone once said.. once you go black..... but that might have been a female... LOL
  6. It's called product placement Steve (Brunswick corporate buy out and positioning to say the least).. If Yamaha could build a better boat then the G3.. they'd get there! Both great motors... the GMC./ Ford / Chrysler debate never serves any good... I had a 4 HP Merc when I was a kid of 6 years old.. it still runs (hate to say 45 years later)! 9.8 Merc in the boat house... beaten as a rental, came with the camp and still runs. My 275 Verado hasn't skipped a beat nor has the 9.9 pro kicker in 6 years. Same deal with my Honda 25... probably the same deal with your Yamaha. They all have horror stories, most caused by the owner.. not the brand.
  7. Here's the nice thing with tracks.. when it's time to slap the tight trailering cover on and go... Or maybe you want to have "shore" lunch on the boat!
  8. 28 years in the plastics business and definitely not the first time I told someone to stuff it !
  9. It heads it in the right direction at least.. and trust me the crap they're making from reground pop bottles isn't going to be effected by a few ounces of what ever molecular structure of fishing line you're using. Not that I know anything about plastics.....
  10. Stuff in a 2 litre pop bottle and put it out with the blue bin !
  11. Roger... spend a bit of coin and do it right the first time. Put Traxstech (was Pursuit) or Bert's rails on if you have enough gunnel width. Then you can buy accessories as you go along and switch up for any species in less than 5 minutes!
  12. Yah.. I can relate...
  13. Anyone have knowledge of an opening act for the Mac on Tuesday night??

Guess nobody else here is going... oh well.

  14. Gonna say.. depending on what the oem install is on the boat it will work no matter what. If it was wired for 12volt originally... 24 volt draws half the amperage for the same thrust motor so nothing needs to be changed wire wise.
  15. May 1st is opener.. have a birthday boy we need to get out there that day. Issue might be... we can't get boats in as the water is still 3 feet below datum !
  16. Penetang Harbour is just about ice free. Midland Harbour is totally black, all it needs is a good wind and the ice is gone.
  17. Canada eh...
  18. Issue with all these boat manufacturers...... they are scaring off dealers by continually raising the number of boats / year that you have to "floor plan" to be a dealer. Why when the owner of Naden asked me how many boats that I thought a "dealer" should have to buy per year to have the "honour" of selling the brand I told him ONE ... and it works!
  19. Yah we're on it guys... but some guy with a broken boat expects me to get up early on a weekend so he still has daylight to fish after it's all fixed. Not toooo sure about that... lol
  20. Don't worry Roger.. they're all so confident that if you're not happy with it they'll buy it from you at full MSRP!! LOL Decisions decisions... always a tough call no matter the choices in front of you! Good luck with which ever direction you go...
  21. Gonna be a bloody auger if someone doesn't tie her boot laces for her !
  22. Watched a good Market Place or similar show on these "duct cleaners" a month or so ago. Only one guy that they hidden camera'd did it correctly. The rest just "pretended" to clean the duct work out. In reality... if it's in the cold air return, which goes thru your filter before heating, who really cares. Outlets anything that is going to move would have been blown out into the air long ago.
  23. Would love too Emil.. but have no spare time in the "happy season" while I try to get everyone's float planes ready for ice out and ourselves to the lake for Mothers Day. Air compressor is here...tools are here... rivet stock is here.. aluminum stock is here as it needs to be modified IMHO to stop this from happening again. A few others on here that should know what to do with it that might do a "drive by" for you, but if you want me to do it I need the boat in the yard. I'm here all week 'till Sunday. Gone Monday/Tuesday the 15/16th and back late on the 17th.
  24. I was in the city today Emil... not going back anytime soon. Tired of getting hit from behind down there.. they seem to hate my trucks. Need a new bumper on my F150 after todays at Dundas / Brock.. and 3 sore necks. Not a great thing after LEAVING the Neurosurgeon with Jen... Penetang... ie Penetanguishene / MIdland... 85 minutes from Bass Pro to put it in perspective for you! Can't believe the guy you've had fix it twice couldn't put two and two together seeing the boat in person!
