Remember James.. I claimed two of those! PM me on FB so we can set up that exchange!
-
I don't work too hard at it.. I only get in a boat for Lakers..
-
Man I gotta go find that other box... I might be able to retire...
-
BIG DOLLARS.... THANKS!! You hear that Brian! LMAO !
-
Best I can tell they're all new and unused!.. and it's an X5 in "CT" in the box. Don't imagine it sells at CTC for $3.39 anymore..
-
Well Brian claimed about 25 of them Rob... you want the rest.. LOL Some are BENO's and IKE's. I have some more somewhere as well...
-
I think there's more somewhere.. I just don't remember where that is after the kids wedding last Fall..
-
Just for you.. and of course it poured on me and now the damn sun is back out! lol Found at least one of my boxes of them.. any of these work for yah?? If so let me know which ones and I'll leave them somewhere for you on the property that's easy to access...
-
Hey.. you know I'm not supposed to be here in the summer Brian... AND I'll look tomorrow as it's a tad blustery here right now. Think we're of the few with power still on..
-
Oh let me look tomorrow if it's not pouring, think I put that box in a marine can...

There is certainly no wage subsidy when it's a Husband and Wife team running a lodge/business and trying to keep their head above water... nor are the loans really as easily available as fictitiously presented. Trust me;... and many others that are in a similar "boat" !
-
Pretty mind boggling.. considering they flowed anyone with a possession only licence, that was "holding dads old gun", into a Possession and Acquisition licence and I can buy what ever I want now!
-
Yep Brain was $22.50/inch when I had him do the Daughter's 44.5" pike that died on us on a back lake. God knows I tried for almost 2 hours to revive that fish, but it is what it is, a $1000 Christmas present.. lol Glad to see they're back up and running after the place burning down a few years back.
-
Must be totally hidden in there, as the last time I drove down the road 2 years ago it seemed to be privately smothered.

All I know for sure is the launch across the the beer store/school is gone..

Nothing to do with Covid. The majority of the locals and cottagers don't even support the grocery store and instead drive all the way to Liskeard for same. Instead of buying from the local Home Hardware lumber yard they order from Rona in Liskeard and have it delivered to town. The only places making money are the LCBO and the gas station. Most lodges have been sold once, if not twice, in the past 10 years as well. A major issue was past councils bowing to an American run lake association, their "not in my back yard antics" and their back room deals. Hopefully current council can get the Municipality back on track.

There's a box or two of AN470-AD1-4's or 5's in there... they'll get vacuumed up! LOL

NICE.. NICE.. NICE... a fishing report ! What a lucky lad that child of yours, enjoying the outdoors and fish to boot!

I had a single employee in the "skunk works" years ago and quickly remembered why I walked out of our 100+ employee plastics plant. I'm done.. not going back in time. I have no income, nothing to write off against and enough "losses for future years" available on both businesses that I'll never see them used in my life time even if I suddenly got a contract from JT! . I have two airplanes left to refurbish, then sell and then it's auction time here. I've said it for years and need to take my own advise, life's too damn short! Especially considering Jennifer has now been gone for 5 years. Glen and I have spent a lot of time on the water together, his best claim to fame is a 14'r with Terry as a witness, then a snagged fishing rod and yes there was a Muskie in the mix. He knows fully that it is an open offer and there was no $ figure stated as it wasn't going to cost him anything.

Many actually want a fee charged to simply use the road, that costs us tax payers huge amounts of money to maintain and nobody actually even knows who owns the road. The road was supposed to be removed after the copper mine closed on Temagami Island 40 or so years ago, but of course too many cottagers and Band members got use to it being there. My personal opinion is the road should be totally removed considering the land use fights that are going on. Then people will once again have to come to town and support the municipality that for all intensive purposes is bankrupt. As for the free launch, everyone of them is free in the municipality at the current time. Compare that to most other communities these days, especially with "covid control" going on. Why I said come to town so you didn't have to beat your boat up on that road, hope you put a sock on your transducer! The town was once a booming place, even quite lively when we came to the lake in 2004, but you can hear a cat fart in the daytime in town now.!

How do you know at least 2 TC inspectors haven't already??.. and they had a damn good laugh like everyone else that's seen the "pick up". They don't care as to what I assemble/repair their amateur builts with! I don't work on certified airplanes and this isn't the only stock of rivets I have, just the stuff that had the marine heads in it.... somewhere under there. I tipped the shelves, did some swearing and walked away 2 months ago!
-
Why I told Glen to bring it to me... as I have a few rivets. Although returning things to where they once were, before the Daughter's wedding in the hangar last Fall, didn't go quite as smooth as I'd hoped... but I have the right stuff somewhere.. LOL

Seasonal Campgrounds with decent fishing and boating
irishfield replied to John's topic in General Discussion
Bring the trailer up, we'll put it on my barge and I'll put you out on our point of land looking down the NE Arm. 26 acres all to yourself... well other than the odd canoe'r. Water access camping is a legal use.... -
Fish out the season Glen, then rip the floor out and bring it up to me....
