This is very sad for the whole area. It will affect more than just the GM workers, as many have said. All those workers support local charities through payroll deduction, so the hurt will go deeper than people losing their jobs. I was wondering if one of the union guys on here can explain the reaction of the union leaders ranting about not accepting this decision and they will appeal it? Do unions have the power to reverse a decision by a private company?

I agree with everyone, the playoff format stinks. I did hear the explanation of why this format was put in place, but I still didn't get it and can't remember why they went this route. Something about rivalries???? Rivalries can beginning in the playoffs for grumps sake! The game last night showed the Leaf's amazing speed with an exclamation mark. They also seemed much more creative if that's possible with only one player being added. He seems to be able to raise everyone's game when he is playing.

The south end of Pigeon Lakes has been frozen for a few days now. However, I have seen it freeze up in the first week of November in the past.

They give out tickets on Nipissing if people aren't wearing helmets in enclosed trailers.

They sure hit you with helmet infractions on Lake Simcoe when ice fishing. Past warnings or not. No lenience according to CO's.

So there is nothing that can be applied to the whole rod? The guides are fine, it's the rest of the rod that has chips showing up. These are Shimano Crucial rods.

Would you suggest doing the whole rod or just the chipped areas?
