That game was painful to watch. Yeah they got a lot of shots on Anderson, but almost all were from the perimeter. They skated like crap all night. At least they got a point though.

Next to Oct and Nov the next month and 1/2 is the best time of year to steelhead fish. Things are just getting interesting.

Great deal for the Leafs IMO. I've been following Colbourne since he was the 2008 RBC Canadian Junior A Hockey League Player of the Year. The kids a beast and when he grows into his body will be a force. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Burke packages the two late first rounders he just aquired to move up in the draft as well. As far as Kaberle goes, it's a sad day in leafland, but if the trade wasn't made he undoubtedly would have walked this summer anyway and the Leafs would've had nothing to show for him. The team currently has no one on the roster who can do what Kaberle does. I'm hoping Wilson changes their style a bit and has the forwards become more involved in breaking out of their zone. I'm guessing we'll probably be seeing a forward on the point for powerplays as well. In any case it's a fantastic deal for the Leafs future, very happy!

Well if you're getting really specific... I went to the gym today too. Then brought my puppy to the vet. On the way home she got carsick and barfed in my lap. Spent 3 hours cleaning and organizing my man cave. Cooked dinner for the clan and cleaned up. Just checked on the dog a minute ago and found she had laid a huge poop right inside my shoe. An eventful day all around.

Buddy any sane gm would make that trade the leafs did 10 times over and twice on Sunday. He's been playing pretty steady lately, flashes of the Phaneuf of old. Like Sam Pollack said, whoever gets the best player wins the trade. The Leafs did by a landslide. And the best player in that trade may very well turn out to be Aulie.

I agree go Flames. Please make another trade with the Leafs. Maybe the two best trades this franchise has ever made brought Dougie to town and last year Phaneuf and Aulie for bunch of useless spare parts.

I do like the stable of young defensemen they're accumulating. Schenn, Phaneuf, Gunnarsonn, Aulie. Waiting in the wings Jake Gardiner, Matt Lashoff and Jesse Blacker. Things are looking great in the back end. Up front say what you want but Kessel is a game breaker and Grabovski has been a revelation. Man what a gritty little player! Reimer looks great if he can keep it up.. It's not all doom and gloom.

OR, the neighbours really are just crazy. Who here doesn't believe that the psycho neighbour contracted those two half wits to firebomb his house?

I'm not a fan of Italos, but did any of you guys ever see the episode where he fished with an absolutely hammered Eddie Shack in the NWT for lakers? I hate fishing shows but that was freaking hilarious. "Italo, where's my scotch?!!!" "I'm not sure Eddie, you just had it a second ago" "Whoa, this fish is HUGE!! As he stumbles around almost falling out of the boat.
