  1. Hey Irishfield thanks for bringing this topic to light...I'm a 36 year old male who suffers from Crohn's and have been off work most of the week battling an episode. It's a pretty tough disease to talk about because of like you said the parts of the body it affects. I have a few good friends that know what I go through because there good friends and I can talk to them. Lots of people don't understand the magnitude of pain and suffering that go along with this disease and it makes it easy to pass off as nothing. I was diagnosed at 17 and have been in and out of hospital over the years. I've tried all sorts of remedies to combat it but in the end<---no pun intended it wins every time. I'm fortunate enough not to have had surgery yet but I can tell over the past few years that it is progressing as the attacks come more frequent and have been lasting longer. My thoughts go out to your daughter as I know what she suffers with on a daily basis not only the physical but the embarrassment and emotional side of it too. There are some great companies out there helping the cause like the M&M meats BBQ <----like a big juicy hamburger and a coke are going to help me...hahahahaaa but the funds they have raised over the years goes to research that may help so I drop in a 20 every year and skip the meal. I would love to donate to your daughters walk if you could PM me the info on who or where to send a check I would gladly do so asap...Send her my thanks and prayers as a fellow sufferer I know how hard life can be dealing with this. I've lost jobs, disassociated myself from some people who find it amusing, and on one occasion was so depressed with my quality of life I considered ending it. The gross totality of it is IT SUCKS damn HORRIBLE so if you could OFC'rs dig deep this cause gets very little recognition, and affects every aspect of a sufferers quality of life. Thanks again Irishfield and Best Wishes for your Daughter

  4. I just had to put down my Shepard Tessa in February...I got her as a pup at 6 weeks and had 13 amazing years with her. She went coast to coast with me 2 trips both in the back of my truck(front when she decided the slider was a doggy door)..She had a stroke one night and couldn't lift her head anymore and as much as it pained me I couldn't live with myself to see her living like that.. I miss her everyday and haven't been able to bring myself to find another yet(maybe soon I need a boat buddy) Sorry you had to go through that lookinforwalleye, its as hard for most as when a family member dies, May he be surrounded by tennis balls and jerky treats til you see him again. Here's a pic of my old girl just to tribute the fallen

  16. Every time I use the search engine I get blasted with hundreds of posts. Is there any way to narrow your search? Quotations around them or something. Way to much time sifting through posts to make it worth while, I'm guessing thats why we see so many answered questions asked all the time. Any answer to this...if you've never used it try and you'll see what I mean
  17. I was glad to see this post lasted as long as it did...So thanks to the OFNr's for keeping it washable<---didn't want to say clean cause we all know that was not the case Ron and Michael thanks for all your hard work, and being on the front lines when so many of us couldn't be...great jobs out there To the RLTA maybe a couple guys like this are who you should have fore-fronting your operation...I'm guessing you'd have allot more business this year if you did Although all I did was knock off a few emails and sign a few petitions I'm proud to have helped...Another great Canadian Lake saved by the little people who really know its true value!!! Congrats to all...Tightlines everyone

  19. I agree with your opinion, I'm just saying, I had a great day on the water bashed on here because of somebody's opinion, ruined a good memory...why bother...start a thread on the Italo Hank thing if you want to hear comments Wasn't trying to start crap, I'm sure Stoty is stoked about his experience so why taint it??
  20. Done! How did this happen bigugli? Development?
  21. Wicked good on ya Stoty...Congrats on the face time...to the bashers do it somewhere else, quit wrecking peoples posts...start your own and do it there Don't sweat it Stoty, congratulations
  22. They are predicting the Canadian dollar to rise above the Americans again by July...guess we'll see who's dollars you love more then...
  23. I'll be there on Sunday have a boat but fully loaded...fish off the pier across from fishmasters...caught a few nice ones there two weeks ago
  24. Do you have any clue as to how many fishing sites there are in Ontario alone? Google it, for you to say that "your" spot has been overrun because of fishinfools post is absurd. It's funny I think when everyone on here hopes there children, there childrens children and so on learn to fish, just as long as it's not in there hole. We had a beautiful weekend, hmmmmmmm maybe that brought a few out. And for the record I've never heard of Scugog being called the Bog, thanks Kemper, now I know Great report fishinfool, glad you did so well out there. Btw next time be sure to take your camera, you never know who you can piss off on here with a great photo or two. Between this and Dr. Sals post on "lurkers" this whole argument is getting way too old. Anybody with a set of eyes and basic fishing knowledge can find good spots, so when I see the trout elitists standing in the middle of a rapid, or casting to that tiny pool right behind a rock, or drifting any bend with a hole on one side, do you think were surprised?? All you photo nazi's, with your new forums and members only crap, OLD OLD OLD, quit bashing peoples posts for your own agenda!
  25. Well after a great night out with some friends at Guelph Lake, sitting around a fire and having a few pints...planning our excursion for the weekend, all my plans have been halted due to some ass who stole all my dough!!! This is the second time in 6 months I have had my money (and I mean all my money) stolen from a bank machine skimming scam. The first time was in fall last year when they got over 2000 dollars from my account before the RBC caught it and halted the procedure. This time they cleared out my whole paycheck and some additional funds rounding out to about 700 bucks... The plan for today was to pick up the boat in Bellwood and hit Dunnville for some cats again...the boys were none to pleased when I called them last night and told them the whole thing is off. The kicker is this time they the bank never caught it at all. I went to the local pizza shop ordered a large pie and a sub last night, went to pay, NO DOUGH!!! Immediately called the bank and they told me I had taken 400 bucks out on Thursday night and another 300 out yesterday...they said my first withdrawl happened at 9pm thurs (when I was sitting in the backyard with some friends watching the leafs) and 6:55 pm yesterday (when I was having an afternoon nap as a result of the night before) So now the bank is doing an investigation into the matter and it may take up to 14 business days to return the funds if they find it fraudulent...These crooks have duped me and my friends out of a good time all for there lack of morals and down right laziness...Do yourselves a favor and never use the noname bank machines, you know the ones in every convenience store now. Use only your banks machines or if you have to another banks machines...these leave your 1.50 surcharge machines are the #1 cause of skimming the bank said as they are privately owned and not monitored... Sorry for the Saturday morning rant but I am furious I was so looking forward to today and not only have I been let down but had to let my best friends down as well I work hard for my dollars and I do love spending them on some lol...Happy Easter all...except you freaks who stole my dough!!!!!!!
