tightline replied to aplumma's topic in General Discussion
Could you be anymore anal...why even bother posting this drivel??? -
yeah I could have I guess Solo sorry about that, but that wouldn't be fair to everyone else...Now you know what there worth though if ya do get sombody to pick'em up they won't be able to soak ya on the price??? LOL if thats any consolation
-
Very cool....can't wait to see more!!!
-
Just had a flashback of sorts those lures are in the bargain bin I bekieve and are only 7 bucks a pop...just to add some fuel to the fire...LOL
-
You have definetly got shiners and dace in there...good set up...use to raise african cicilids and what you have going looks good to me...feed them regular flake...even a cicilid flake it may bring out more of the color...for the record though may cost you more in hydro then what the minnows are worth depending on how much you get out
-
Is there actually a scoreboard we can see or is it a big surprise at the end???
-
Just wanted you guys to know I was at Epps this weekend and they have maybe 8-10 of the balsam purple spotted?? minnow rap like you guys were searching for there all in the 9-15 foot range I believe...anyone close looking for this lure there right under the till and there was plenty of them.

My apologies it was the "last post goodbye " I read that was locked...and the fact there not applying these same savings on to a huge american market...to a charity for kids is a bit disheartening to say the least...will definetly affect my purchases in the future...in my opinion it has no reflection on JP, aside from the fact he has now become the Shimano vs OFC referee...don't wish that on anyone

Last time I checked this post was locked???? Why is it now it's open?? I've read the whole thing and it really seems fairly petty...Clearly you were linked to the wrong site...Problem solved mistakes were made get over it everyone....I come to this site because it's helped me become a better fisherman...and in turn I've tried to help people in return through my experiences....Do I care if JP Derose is on here no...Do I like it, without a doubt, but I feel I get the same kind of advice from each of you that he would give me and time and time again its payed off....I get the hard water is in and were all ancy but this is a forum for help, advice, encouragement, and lets face it who doesn't mind getting their ego stroked with a few wicked pics now and again...So relock this drivel and lets all focus on what really counts....and no for the record not saying the kids don't count but that issue has been solved...SPRING IS COMING!!!! Hold on boys the cage door will be open soon enough!!! just my opinion....hate mail will not be responded too

Very nice rigs...yeah are you working from a kit or is there a book on patterns....would be really interested -
First let me start by saying anyone who is interested on an ice trip to Nippissing make sure you give Shawn and Terra a call!!! These people were truly salt of the earth awesome hosts...The bite started from the minute the first minnow hit the water and was off and on all weekend...We brought home about 50 jumbos between the 4 of us but threw back well over another 100...The walleye bite was pretty cold for us we ended up with 3 none over 13" and all went back (figured we'll get those ones next year)...we did see a few caught over 24 which if I was being honest made me completely jealous yet incredibly excited at the same time...Oh yeah even put a mud puppy on the ice LOL...all in all a great first ice outing for all of us have a bunch of pics but literally just walked through the door and am far to lazy to tackle that right now...I thank you all for putting me on to Idle Tymes and will from now on be a repeat offender there!!! For the boys on team 7 I don't know if quantity over quality counts in the tourney but nothing for nothing it was a fantastic Tyme truly nothing Idle about it!!!!
-
So its friday morning and we've been up since 4...like a couple kids on x-mas day...because today is the day...the one I've been waiting for since November...Were heading to Idle Tyme's fishing camp...the T-bones are packed the rods are in the car and the camera batteries are fully charged, were waiting for the other 2 in our crew to arrive and were gone...So to all the crew on team 7 lets hope we get some points on the board out there...It's suppose to be a beautiful weekend out there guys so get out and get those lines wet...lets take this Tourny by storm!!!!

We usually drop the boat in at the crack of dawn, and pull'r out at sunset...shore lunches and naps on beaches where you can find'm...Never gone home empty handed for lack of trying..Some of the biggest fish I have ever been in the boat when caught have been mid afternoon, maybe a couple in the early morning but the majority has been later in the day.
-
Your seminar was hilarious Dave the crack about the Bob Iszumi shirt size almost made me squirt beer out my nose...which in case anyone is wondering stings like all heck..Best seminar I saw all day...Had a great time but left before the GTG friends had a jonsing for Hooters "wings" I mustta walked that place for 3 hours looking for an OFC shirt/hat or anything but never saw one member...guess I'll have to up the postings and get a little more recognized...meh maybe next year!!

I've been going to The Blue Heron Resort http://www.blueheronresort.on.ca/ for the past couple years...The owner is of the best character I have ever found...last year he actually took us out in our boat when we weren't on the fish (in the pouring rain I might add) and refused to come in till we had our limit!!! They have beautiful cottages and great boats for rent...You should definetly give them a look...there about 6 hours north of Toronto in a place called Spanish....If you drop them a line be sure to tell them Gord says Hi and put you onto them might cut me a break this summers trip....HA....honestly the nicest people you ever wanna mee,t they definetly always treat you right. Owners name is Cal superb gentlemen!!

not true Canadian tire does no longer carry the outdoors cards in ontario, southern anyway...hit a tackle shop or check the mnr web site for kiosks where you can pick them up...all you need is a temporary other then residence card and your good to go Leechman...there a little more expensive then what we residents have to pay but c'mon support your ontario fishing brothers anyway

Sweet fish!! Must have been a great day...ahhhh lets face it any day on the hard or soft water is a great day!!!
