  1. This topic gets my blood boiling. This was a completely absent minded decision on her part. Did she bother to ask owner-operators what their thoughts were on the matter? No, she took the advice of trucking companies with their own interests in mind, and I'm sure they weren't concerned with safety or environmental issues. The trucking industry is facing serious problems due to an extreme shortage of experienced and qualified drivers. This bullcrap isn't going to help that any. Truck drivers are the safest drivers on our roads. If anyone should have limiters imposed it should be on passenger vehicles, I'm sure the stats will show that they are the ones causing the majority of accidents on our highways. I'm done ranting now!
  2. Happy Birthday to you both! Now let me see... Lew, I could use a new rack for hangin' all them fancy lures on. That should be a good project for you with your new saw!
  3. Great report Joey! You seem to be on FIRE these past couple of weeks, congrats! And Roy, lookin' cute as always! Snady
  4. OK, so should a person keep eye contact, or avoid it? I laughed when I ready your story Randy, but I am glad that you came away from it with only minor injuries. I think I would do the exact same thing, no matter what I have been taught!
  5. What a cutie!!! Congrats Mark, glad to see that Andrea is doing well!
  6. Your family will be in my thoughts Gerritt, and it is good to know that you have people you can turn to when you need them. Your son will always be with you because he will always be in your thoughts and prayers.
  7. This seems wrong on so many levels, but I'll stop analyzing it before I get my thoughts into that any further! Ehh hem... on another note... man you guys eat good! Have you never heard of Kraft Dinner or hot dogs, lol?
  8. Are we talking about the same guy here Joey? Congrats on the fish Ronnie, an excellent return for your investment!
  9. And I would like to know what you were thinking to make you want to Google toilets. On second thought... nevermind.
  10. This has made it to my top ten OFC posts. Thanks for the morning laugh!
  11. We have stayed here on Lake Chandos in early spring a few times. I'm not sure what the boat traffic is like on the lake in the summer though, it might be quite busy. http://www.harbourhill.com/
  12. Pretty sure that a stainless steel floor isn't going to remove too much slime. No more than the net will scrape off. Beauty fish, and your captain is way too cute!
  13. Awesome Connie! Wishin' I could be there with ya again!
  14. I think you missed the "and" Roy...
  15. Paul, Shimano makes a nice musky rod called the Compre. They are really reasonably priced as well.
  16. Hello everyone, We are in the market for a canoe, but we don't really know too much about makes, models and decent pricing. We would want something fairly lightweight for portaging, but big enough to carry two adults and a dog. We are willing to buy a used one if it is in good shape. Any advice and info would be greatly appreciated!
  17. I must say that I had never heard of this guy before so I did a search to find his work. All I have to say is "amazing"! We were up in Algonquin this past weekend and I couldn't think of a better way to go. Absolutely beautiful.
  18. I know someone who eats them once he buys them! Where the hell is Cory when you need him...
  19. One inspection station is going to solve the invasive species problems in the north? Brilliant. The letter first states how the Ministry doesn't have enough money to put gas in C/O's trucks, but they want to spend more money to create and man an inspection station. I wish them luck with that.
  20. And a mochachino cafe half frap for Adam!
  21. Nothing suckers 'em in like pictures of cute puppies! Plus, I love looking at puppy pictures!
  22. There is a really good boat launch located in the Massassauga Provincial Park.
