  1. Include me in. I don't know how, don't know when . I could do with some OFC G2G, and mebbe some fishing too.
  2. Nice work, Emil - great to see you and the Lads back here.
  3. Nice shootin', Glenn. Thanks.
  4. Great stuff, Grant. You gotta stop including me out on these outings.
  5. I just stumbled upon this board and I am so glad to be a member, you guys are just the best, what with all your fishing kung fu and all. Now that I am in, don't let anyone else in, or they will ruin the sportfishery once and for all. Nobody talking about catching fish anywhere, and I mean it. Let's get Godwin's law happening, we are a little slow this time.
  6. I'm very sorry, Joanne, for your loss. My condolences to you and your family.
  7. I think the real problem is lack of critical thinking skills. The idea that multinational pharmaceutical companies intentionally infect the world populace to create a market for their products is A GREAT IDEA!!!1!!1 ZOMG!!1!!!!! Another example: If I remember correctly, the last time swine flu reared it's ugly head, (1976?) the vaccine killed way more people than the bug did. If you want anyone to believe anything you say, back that up. Cite proof, or stop it. That's crap, and has no place here.
  8. If Hamilton gets a hockey team, then Toronto will want one too. Roy is not to be trusted, encouraged, or supported in any way, speaking from experience here. Nothing good can come of that.
  9. Rich, between the lines I hear some heartbreak and misery. We've never met, but I know you will do the right thing for you. If access to your genetic inheritance is an issue, fight it, and then go do the butcher thing. Good luck to you.
  10. I'm SO hungry. Thanks for the post, Glen.
  11. Congratulations on the new family, CoolB. It seems to suit you well. Your daughter looks as though she shares her Ma's good looks. A cutie fer sure.
  12. Nice shootin, Aaron. Nice to see you around here.
  13. Great report, fishnsled, with some fine photography, too. I noticed the mosquito chaser in one of the fish cleaning shots. What do you think about them?
  14. A friend of mine bought some sushi once. He took it home, cooked it up, and said it tasted a lot like fish.
  15. Where in N Ontario? Do you want full Murrican Plan, or do you want to pack your food and bedding in?
  16. You will want to mount some rod holders - trolling big bucktail spinners at muskie speeds can take its toll on your forearms. No planers needed.
  17. Seconding Thompson's Marina in Coboconk. I was looking for a motor only to rent, and they were the only folks from Coby to Fenelon interested in providing that service. Later in the week, they replaced an oarlock for me (no tools in the cottage) for no charge. That lady (!) at Rosedale gets no points for friendly. Nice folks at Thompson's, they deserve your business.
  18. Don't overthink a plate of beans. I appreciate your posts, jes' give'r.
  19. Grant, I read the title of your post and laughed out loud. Congratulations! Try to stay in touch, eh? Jeeeze.
  20. Carole, you missed 'small minded' and 'venal'. You always forget the 'venal'.
  21. You have a good eye, JoAnne, two more than likely. That really spruces up the place.

    yummy

This report on a 'recent study' comes out every year, and still falls into line with the MNR's guide to eating Ontario sportfish. *Yawn*, and shame on the press for snapping it up every time.
  23. Oldest buddy of mine, we go back 40 years this spring, has MS. His story is much like yours, but he is still giv'n er. I'm sure you are too. Hang in.
  24. You must have those fish on Scugog dialed in, Doug. Hope you have a great time.
  25. This is one for the archives, SplashHopper. Thanks for sharing that day with us.
