  1. Sure you could but if they shoot back you maybe in trouble!
  2. I currently do not use one I just trim the motor up a bit with no issues. I would imagine if you trailer a lot on rough roads they would be worth while. Now let the debate begin Too transom saver or not too transom saver!
  3. The motor before my Yammy was an Evinrude and it was a very good motor no issues at all.
  4. Lots of steelheaders around here I am sure they`ll give you their spots.LOL
  5. Yes your employer has to sign the form. I am a sales rep and I provide my own vehicle so I am allowed to claim all expense relating to the car including depreciation, maintenance, insurance interest on the loan etc. This only applies to the business use percentage.
  6. You chillins still arguing about motors, my motor is better than your motor nah nah nah nah nah!
  7. I find it strange that a structure because it is a farm does not require a building permit, sounds fishy to me I need a permit to build a 10 x 10 deck!
  8. If he`s doing a lot of trolling I would go with a kicker. Better on gas and less wear and tear on the main motor.
  9. Well if thats the case then add up the Yammy and the Merc totals. Yamaha,Mercury,Honda they`ll be good to you if your good to them. I run a Yamaha but that is because the boat I liked came with a Yamaha if it would have been packaged with a Mercury it would have made no difference.
  10. Beer could care less...as long as the supply of Coke Zero is intact I am fine.
  11. Well done, I do not have the patience or the eyesight for the job besides I tried that once and the reel is still in the garage in pieces.
  12. What`s wrong with Quakers?
  13. I can`t really comment on Pigeon but I had a tough go of it on Scugog which is my home away from home, the water was lower than I have ever seen and add to that more weed growth than I have ever seen made it tough for me. A lot of the spots I like to fish had little or no water and the rest of the spots I could not get too because of the excessive weed growth. Having said all that in the couple of tournaments they ran out of Goreski`s the bags that the pro`s brought in were impressive if memory serves I think one tournament was one with an average of 5 Lbs. Good luck on Pigeon this year I have never fished Pigeon before but it is one of the lakes I want to try this year as it is not far from Port Perry.
  14. Thats because it has rivets!LOL
  15. The breakfast of champions, a pack of smokes and a can of Coke!
  16. It all comes down to personal preference after the research I did I decided a riveted hull was the best choice for me. For me I would not like the idea of having to ship my boat back to manufacturer to fix a cracked weld and be without a boat for months and also worry about the repair failing again which I think would be a high probabilty. With regards to lifetime warranties I would suggest reading the fine print as some manufactures only honor the warranty for the original purchaser and some only on certain components.
  17. I like my Navigator!
  18. Unfortunately there are players that skate around looking for the opportunity to KO a unsuspecting player and this is nothing new and until the league bans head shots it will continue. And for the Ottawa fans please don`t scream too loud you have a guy on your team that is one of the worst offenders in the league who loves to run around and deliver the same type of hits and I seem to recall he KO`d a Boston player last week with the same type of hit and his cheap shot on Drury last year, of course I am talking about that punk Chris Neil.
  19. When I did my research before buying a couple of years ago I ruled Tracker out because of the welded hull and the warranty horror stories of cracked hulls. If your confident that their welded hulls have improved then it looks like a decent package for the price, if it was me buying it I would spend an extra 1500 dollars and go for the Opti Max.
  20. I would just forget about it and like you said probably a little more to the story, seems hard to believe that someone would pick a fight over a pom pom unless of course alchol was involved.
  21. I tried florocarbon a couple of years ago and it was terrible, I didn`t catch any more fish because the line kept jumping off the spool and I spent more time with tangles than fishing. However I have heard floro lines have improved so I bought some and will try it again this spring.
  22. Judging by the crowds shopping at Walmart, CTC or any other big box store you care to think of there is no shortage of demand for off shore products. I know in my world I am responsible for my bottom line and with various levels of government taking well over 50% of my pay I think of my bottom line first.
  23. Well I am not sure but if you only pay tax on half the purchase price and if there is a legal issue in the future I think you can only sue for the amount you paid tax on.
  24. Thank the baby Jesus that the young lad was not holding a Musky like that or he`d be in trouble! LOL
