What Are Some Good Frog Hunting Locations In WMU82?
Garnet replied to Huck764's topic in General Discussion
I caught thousands of bait frogs with a fly swatter. Maybe you should listen. -
The problem is even deeper. As a stock investor I'm always studying economics, trends. A whole bunch of states signed right to work legislation in resent years. Union busting. And the rich convinced the public it was good for them. Basically allows rich business owners to pay crap money to employees. (Wal Mart model). Now they can't buy any products because of no disposable income can't travel same reason. The biggest distributer of fishing tackle in the world went from 90 million a year to 35. And that's only the start across the board every major fishing industry is down b 50%.

I don't know the rules but a fly swatter makes catching leopard frogs easy. -
I've wrote this plenty times on here. EVERY BOAT OWNER SHOULD HAVE A LOAD TESTER. $50 at CTC. When your battery needs charging, hook up your load tester. If it's any less than 12.3 your battery is toast. 11 anything junk. Plug in your charger not instantly but over the next minute your load tester should go up to 13+. If it doesn't change your charger is junk. Check both battery's this way. Brand new battery's are most likely to fail. Let battery's fully charge then flip the switch and load test. It will say fail. Check your water level. In my experience if your battery starts losing water they are on the way out the door.

Last year I was having poutine at the truck south of Lindsay at the old strip club. Hear this awful racket getting louder and louder. Here's buddy brand new 5th wheel new dodge truck and both tires on the rims. Finished off my lunch and follow the scrap marks on Hwy until he turned towards Bethany. Must have been hard of hearing.

Balsam never needed a slot. It had fabulous amount of fish in every year class. The problem was they used trap nets that sat in 8 ft and went to shore missing 99% of the walleye. The slot ruined Balsam because there's tons in the slot (non keepers) and few above or below. I was fishing all the Kawrathas 40 years ago and you could catch tons of 16 inch walleye. Today fishing is better in that you never know what your next bite will be. In practice for Canada US I caught 2 over 5 a 6 and a 7.5. Rice was the same Tri lakes a little balanced fishing. They need to get something wrote by Crossman or change will never happen. He is the guy that wrote the green book on species. You will hear direct Quotes from his book at every meeting with MNR.

Lawren works at Radioworld has a tutorial on good fishfinder install. Maybe check with Misfish.

I think those rivets are fine. Is that other transducer in use. And if so the wires are likely together. bad bad bad. Are the transducer cables mixed in with a bunch of other wires. bad bad bad. Are your units wired thru fuse panel. bad bad bad. Does your transducer cables lay across your battery's bad bad bad. Yes I'm sure it's poor installation.

My second Mustang purchased from CTC has that larger area of material between your shoulder blades. I find my older one more comfortable that is a basic U up the front and around neck and just straps at back. For some reason you also need to carry a regular lifejacket in the boat.

I'm sure he could have stuck you with a weekday and likely could have book on a long weekend Monday. If he gets you fish at least expenses.

Fishing Lake Muskoka Pike Open this weekend
Garnet replied to FishFinder17's topic in General Discussion
The pike where preforming at a very high level. One followed by bait I stop, it stops, Then it bimps my bait mouth closed backs up bimps it again mouth closed. Then gets agitated swims small circle and bimps it hard mouth closed. Then just swims away. Had 2 other nose down on bait in the stare down. My boat was just barely moving and boat got 2 close. The other just left. Couple other follows. These where all 27-30 inches fish. Usually in this tournament all insignificant so no worry's. Took a 30.5 inch avg to win. I think pike should be major tournament specie, tough as nails in livewell, like smallmouth they do wack a doddle things to mess with you. Just a ton of fun.- 16 replies

Fishing Lake Muskoka Pike Open this weekend
Garnet replied to FishFinder17's topic in General Discussion
I'm fishing Muskoka pike it's a great tournament. It's a rotation most guys don't fish the whole bay just certain areas. If somebody is at a spot just move on and come back. 80 boats in this lake just disappear.- 16 replies

The closer to the channel maps are more accurate. In the case of G Bay from Wabashene up there is so many rock piles the map will never ba accurate. Balsam is good. Take a look at Rice Lake in front of Otonabee looks amazing. It's all garbage non of that stuff is there. Navionics should be embarrassed to put that out. You know that thing at the start "don't use this for navigation"

Spent a whole day on G Bay playing with Gar. White fat curly tail and we needed to run the bait down the side close to the eye and they would snap at bait. Hooking didn't work that good.

It's typical lots in one area. The big girls where likely out a little deeper. It often seems like you wack all the boys and then the big girl gets pissed about no boys.

The huge majority of our lakes are really reservoirs. If you have dam into our out of your lake it's a reservoir.
