  1. Lots of guys take aspirin 81 helps slippery the blood. I take full strength aspirin because of general pain and keep the hands warm.
  2. Another common is the on off switch. The one you put your foot on.
  3. I've also seen salmon come from 15--20 ft to smash plugs roe bags and skeen. So again I support everybody that has a licence and is fishing legally. The others charge them ban them take there equipment.
  4. By far the best glove are the white work glove from Marks with the green wrist bans. 12 pair for $7. You have good dexterity with 1 pair and when cold just put 2nd pair on. And at .50 a pair they double as toilet paper.
  5. Pop the top off head the wires will look burnt. Remember yours cost half the amount to buy new so motor less expensive.
  6. For 80 and 101 and 109 the expensive things are the board and the motor $300 each or $1600 plus for a new one.
  7. The first thing is take a screw drive and move prop when the power button is on. Don't do it with fingers. If it starts working it's dead spot in armature. Take top off it's common that the wires are fried to dust.
  8. Was a that story hit the papers last year about 50 charges on the ganny in 1 weekend The story did not emphasize that 550 where checked and 500 where fishing legally just having a good time. Just because I don't care to fish this area doesn't make it wrong and just because I don't care to eat these fish doesn't make it wrong. At this time 6000 salmon are over the Corbet. I vote for access. I vote or family's to take kids to the river and have a good time. Later I will make them good anglers.
  9. Nothing like self promotion.
  10. Most are cartage style now. And most boats have 4 or more. So get somebody to flick switches and you touch each one until you ID bilge. There are 3 kind yellow are Mayfare white Atwood blue and red I forget mostly on Stratos. You can just turn and they will pop out. Could be fishing line plastic baits or just burned out.
  11. Now you know. The next thing is your connections get wire brush and shine them up. Apply white grease. Don't forget both side of breakers.
  12. 1 of your battery's is done. Get a load test done. The happy news is cosco puts marine battery on sale now 50% off.
  13. get off public forums and think about what you need.
  14. I only used fizzing in tournament situation. Dragging the fish to depth in a rec fishing situation is easy. Most are going down with no help. Picture fish usually need help. Those fish are stiff so anything you hook on there jaw will stay until pressure relieved. The fish will usually shake there head and be gone. Now that I have salt water jigs up to 6 oz cut point off and use on a rod. Easy
  15. I took the lead strap off marker buoy made sharp bend on 1 end and tied other end to baitcast. So I hooked lip of smallie an pointed down in water and tow smallie to deep water. Worked good. Tournaments I fizzed.
  16. I use 18 gauge needle from TSC or farm co-op and bought another needle to go inside. Anything will work stiff wire.
  17. Fun Fun lake do you know how to fizzes smallies. I was on 1 side of rock pile dropshoting 85 ft smalles and the brothers where on other side getting them in 12. If they aren't on points or sand drop-offs they are chasing lake smelt over deep water.
  18. Angler Outfitters Woodstock is a place you might get older transducer.
  19. I caught many gold fish on L Erie summer I was 13. Biggest maybe 3 lbs.
  20. 24 Martin rd s Bowmanville Sat & Sun.
  21. I know where now.
  22. We are getting ready for weekend yard sale never know what I might find. Set of glory bags I knew where.....just not where.
  23. I can tell you the year red came out we sold crap loads of it. The next year couldn't give it away.
  24. I worked every show for Power Pro for 10 years be for it was bought out. And have worked for another Canadian braid company . I still don't waste braid. It's some what environmental thing. I take flap of box and cut notches in end, wind the braid on and write the lb test. To be used another day.
  25. Fact all braid fades. Fact the bottom of your spool is brand new braid. Let's be creative tie your braid to a tree walk your braid off. Snip with scissors back to your tree tie braid on wind on reel and your pervious faded braid is all new.
