Glad you made it back safely, those squalls can be tricky things. I ran into one just 5 minutes from my house....took me 20min to get home from there Hope it's cleared up by 5am. Be safe out there folks, catching a fish just isn't worth some things... Maureen

Hey Clampet, yes I do the commute 4 days a week...I work 4 10hr shifts. Most of the time it's not too bad. I made it to just outside of Penetang tonight before I lost visibility. Hopefully the squall is done by the time I have to leave again in the morning. They are calling for squalls and high winds with low temps again tomorrow so bundle up everyone Maureen

Hey all, my friend Amanda, Tyler's aunt, is a representative of a company called Usborne Books. She is offering up her commision on any book orders recieved in the month of February to Tylers fundraising. There is a great book called "Starting Fishing" which has TONS of information in it for the young fisherperson! I just got one in my shipment. There are also tons of great titles on nature and wildlife, geography well you know, tons of great stuff! If they get their order to me on or before February 16, I can bring the order to the Fishing Derby on Feb 24. I think you have it backwards Ron...the news just said Eastbound is still closed. They were hoping to have it open by 2pm, but the engineers are still finding more damage so it might take longer to open them. Cars were turned around and therefore able to get off the highway, but there are several rigs still stuck there as they aren't able to turn around. What a mess. Maureen

Closest store to me would be in Alliston, not worth the drive for me. Does sound like a good deal though. Maureen

I really don't know how to explain it...but here's an attempt. On your screen, when you open the message board, what colors do you get? The "skin" is what you see, and thanks to the mods, or Rick I guess, there are a few different color schemes available. Scroll down to the bottom of the page on the left you will see whatever skin you are using, likely default? click on the arrow and you can pick a different one. Hope that helps. Maureen

news here said the eastbound lanes will likely be closed over the weekend. They have to let the fire burn out, then repair the road. Apparetly the flames were so hot, there's a hole in the road now Maureen

I tried crate training my Sheppard when he was a pup, but he quickly figured out how to open the crate when I was at work...so I let him have the run of the place...not too much damage Maureen
