I see a boat in the first picture. Probably reeling in a fish. im going up there one of these years.

Some fibreglass boats last a long time but how do you tell. I remember some built in the 1990s and they had wood stringers. They all got scrapped in the next 15 y. I don’t think I’ll ever buy an old glass boat unless it was a throw away money amount.

My friends biggest fish ever and first Muskie. Great guy to fish with. We did 100miles in the boat. It took $40 in gas. Great trip.

Went to st Clair. Didn’t brake anything this time. Very calm, sunny and flat water. Great boating. Got a hit and netted the fish and the hooks came out. Very light bites. Great trip but came home early because of the poor fishing. I’m ready to go again.

If you can get the one that’s center drilled for grease fitting. Grease goes in behind inside bearing

I put duct tape over the air intake for dirt road travel. Sometimes I put a cheap cover over the motor and tape it down. I don’t like covers flapping in the wind. One thing I found is if you use two covers they work against each other and stop most of the flap. My boat cover is always two at a time. The top cover is over ten years old. No rips.

Congrats on some big fish. That one (from looking at a picture) is over 55”. A true giant for sure.

I guess gas came though the vent and got on the outside of the plastic fuel gauge. I buffed it with some glass cleaner and now I can read it. So good for now

Gas came up into to fuel gauge part of the boat gas cap. Now the clear plastic is not clear. I can’t see how much gas is left. Can it be fixed. Maybe I’ll buy a new tank if I can find one. 12L tank with the handle on top.
