was a tuff weekend. down closer to windsor the muskies were hot. l.s.c. is a greaat fishery.

southern ontario . major wind advisory. a good day to work on baits. waves 3-5ft.

lots of chinese crap being imported. there processes are to save money. not create quality by any means.

for a second i thought it was lew with a kayak.

the best will come in a month. nice skie. as the frosts come and temps drop it will be piggy time.

totally a bogus deal. have we asked where the monies go. maybe to asian countyrs. funny canadians do without, are taxed beyond belief. where is the accountability.at one time canada stood strong. i kinda wonder now. oh ya pik up the soap. who can afford it?

it was not a weight tournie. the contestants held fish boatside till judge boat arrived. problem licensing, and size limits created the dilema. many sportsmen groups were involved in the issues at hand. the mnr were involved when they found out. thru angler outreach programs and group involvments the mnr are very accesable. . the musky fishery is priceless in southern ontario. it must be protected from mis-use., as the format that was presented.

if you read the regs and abide by the implemented laws theres no issues. unfortunately the organizers did not , along with contestants. kudos to the mnr.

the thames is an awesome aqua culture. theres near 85 fish species in it. some of the species are rare and endangered. enjoy the river. i was at a presentation from a biologist from the uppper thames. amazing what the thames river holds. congrats on your exploration fishing trip. this river needs friends.

and people laugh when we installed a harpoon on the boat.

i witnessed the event. it was well run with great volunteers. great going folks. in the economy downturn im sure it was a big welcome for parents and kids alike.. the belle river chapter of m.c.i is very involved in the great outdoors, and its future fisher people.

sadly we bash what we built. if it was not for folks building products here in north america we would not be enjoying, the good life. i know if you are not involved in manufacturing products here in north america. remember the dollars are spent here... without these dollars spent here maybe your lifestyles will change, maybe you will become one of those folks that are without the necessities of life..

i for one have owned toyotas, volvos, dodges in k cars to ram diesels. i presently drive a jeep liberty. . hands down i would drive a americam made product hands down. . i feel safer, and employ folks in north america. yep you got it. , i do not support offshore products. I AM CANADIAN.

thecan -am was a great fun outing for all. thank you folks. i met so many great folks from this board. the chapt. of belle river muskies canada does this outing yearly.moneys raised goes to. youth education, fisheries and helping out folks in need.. the rochester place campground and park has all the perks for hard core musky fishemen, to family camping. golf course pool, boat ramp, marina and even a great buffet. . the top 2 fish were a 50 inch musky, and a 49 incher. all fish were safely released.. im sure mr EH can put together a good report.. eh and mrs. eh put countless hours into the development of this can-am this year. thanks again.

its great to see folks caring for one another. i do believe in karma. the efforts from so many show outdoor sportsmen and women definately have very high standards.

imgoing to be shallow near warmer water outflow creeks for starters. running woodies in brighter patterns. reaction strikes are the norm in cooler waters. this year the waters cooler and not mixed yet. on st clair its boards and smaller cranks. mmm this all could change in 1 hour if ya know muskies. dax has covered the ethical and safety issues. good thread gents.
