your unit shouldnt be turned on when when the transducer is not in the water to be cooled off....who cares what it says when its on the trailer ....borrow someone elses handheld unit and make sure it is marking an identicle speed when you are fishing/moving ....if it works correctly when it supposed to be working ...then dont sweat it....if it isnt working correctly when its supposed to be then you response to them should be " Im glad you aware of the reason this unit is the last i will purchase from your company"

The Mirimichi River in NB is a world renowned Atlantic salmon fishery that is visited by tourist from all over the world to try their hand at fighting this magnificent species. The rules down east are very stringent (fly fishing only) and tags are assigned for the class of fishing licence you get…resident, non resident(Canadian) and non Canadian, bounty and fees adjusted according to the type of licence( very few tags for a lot more money if you’re in the “non”groups …. if the Atlantic program is successful in the restoration of the species to Lake O ….does anyone think there is a plan in place to protect the Atlantics from being decimated once again ? Seems this whole endeavour will be for not if they arent protected like they are down east. I honestly think it is a lesser crime in NB and NS to commit an infraction against a human then it is to commit an infraction against a salmon. Will the credit become a” Fly” only river? Will there be Atlantic Tags? Will COs be beefed up to prevent flossers and rippers? Heavier Fines? Granted it is a bit easier down east because of the population differences but history has a way of repeating itself if accommodations aren’t made. I fished the credit in mid September of this year and seen what I thought were 2 large Atlantics( 7 ish or 8 pounds) in a pool amongst the chinnys…I did switch from roe to flys but to no avail of hooking up with one… This is an excellent thread…I hope it continues at this level of integrity and respect to the opposing oppinions…. Personally ....i would LOVE to be able to fight Atlantics in Ontario...i would visit the Credit on a regular basis opposed to once in the last 12 years Cheers!

take longer exposures to get the dimmest stars to illuminate....Try Brandon Broderick ...he is a Canon man and he was/is selling a few lenses....dont know if he still is or not but worth a shot in the dark (so to speak)

the type of roof you speak of is called a Cottage roof....there are alot of varibles to your quote to determine the price... how far away from the house is the new building elctrical requirements gas reguirements engineered slab/heated floor exterior finish windows garage door opener insulated with Roxal or traditional fiberglass to R 13,blown in ceiling insulated door coloured eves trough type of shingles hieght of interior ceiling and so on.... and so on just make sure the details of each quote are the same for each contractor to compare apples to apples and not oranges....ive built garages for 17k up to 35k for the same size building ....SIZE was the only common thing .... Sucker fish in Spring colours....although they put up a respectable battle for thier size , most steelheaders find them to be irritating

Salty - your effort with your spelling/grammar is poifect...i think what the original poster was trying to convey was if people take the same pride into thier posts as they do of a picture of themselves holding a fish.....then the whole world would be poifect ( even with its flaws on poipuse)
