  11. you are without a doubt one kewl dude ! and the karma is well deserved...excellent write up !
  12. you may want to use some plywood to build up around the attic access to keep the insulation from falling into the house as well...
  13. Code is R40 right now but down the road it will be changing to R50 so you might as well top it up once and go to R 50 As stated make sure your moor vents are stapled and depending on the depth you may have to add extensions to ensure you get your ventilation.. Ensure that at the soffit you have a blocker (piece of bat insulation) to keep the cellulose from blowing out into the soffit and to protect it from wind blowing the cellulose back from the soffit Roxal is an excellent product but IMO is an unnecessary added expense when dealing with attics traditional fiberglass bats are sufficient for blockers...i do use Roxal for sound deadening walls and insulating basements If you have a home hardware or Rona handy ...they will more than likely lend you the machine free of charge if you purchase their cellulose ...make the suggestion to them wear a dust mask Good luck 11.5 inches of cellulose = R40

  19. Ice fishing is my mind: Living on the edge of drowning in freezing cold water Sharing body gases in a enclosure with your dearest friends Retrieving fish out of a toilet that your drunk friend just peed into Reflecting on what a great fall it was and praying for the last saturday in April Wondering if 6 # test is going to break on the edge of the hole Wondering why the rods are barely the length of most of my reels Wondering if the block of ice your depending on to keep you alive is still attached to shore Apparently im not a fan of solid H2O Just my .02

  22. If you purchase a tele-converter that will double the power of any lens you twist on ...saving you Big Money on the telephoto lenses...when i first got into photography i bought a nikkor 75mm- 150mm and a teleconverter ...giving me 150mm-300mm without breaking the bank
  23. for that very reason is why i dont ice fish
  24. keep in mind ...that if you owned either of the SLRs before you may want to stick to that brand as you can use all your other lenses ...and that alone is the huge cost of any camera outfit...that is the defining factor for me ...so im going to stick with Nikon and go with the D90... Good luck on your choice...
