  1. Temagami, is a good location.
  2. Bald Faced Hornets nest. Just one of our unique critters out here.
  3. Been a rough week. Bilge pump float switch stuck and killed the battery, storm then sunk the boat. Water in the fuel meant a tow back to the dock at the end of it all. Then the truck battery was dead. ? A few pics from the week. Front done. Scaffolding set up on North wall. UH OH!! ? North wall done. The ride home. ?
  4. Cliff notes edition Wind, rain, wind, rain, stuck bilge pump float switch = dead battery = sunk boat, hornets nest, rain, wind, rain, sunken boat = water in fuel = need tow back to launch, hop in truck.... dead battery. ????????? Thank the lord baby Jesus it's over!!!!!!
  5. Caught my first muskie in Little Bald.
  6. I got a way around hitting those rocks. No problem!! Say hello to my little friend!!! ?
  7. Yeah, one of these would hold it in place. https://www.cabelas.com/product/boating/electric-trolling-motors/electric-trolling-motor-accessories/pc/104794380/c/104716980/sc/104312880/ram-reg-tough-claw-trolling-motor-stabilizer/2171478.uts?slotId=11
  8. Hope it's nowhere near as bad as it was here in 2014. The only road South was closed for long stretches due to smoke and fires near the road. At one point a dozer crew had to run for their lives when the fire front came blasting through at 40+ MPH. It was so hot it melted the asphalt where it crossed the road. When it finally rained this is what fell from the sky.
  9. A crew of our bombers from the NWT are working down in Ontario now. Been a very wet year up here and very few fires so far.
  10. If you can get a hold of a PD V1 co-pilot you can ditch the pedal. I have a brand new pedal that barely gets used because I'm always using the remote.
  11. I mostly fished the access points below 2nd line on Wellington Rd. 18. Also fished the water below the gorge on 21. The upper stuff was my fave though. 5wt is plenty.
  12. I use Hanson closed end blind rivets Stainless mandrel/ Stainless head. Much stronger than aluminium and no rust. I dip them in marine sealant before installing so I get a perfect seal. They also have the aluminium mandrel/aluminium head rivets you were asking about Hack. As well as stainless mandrel/aluminium head. https://www.hansonrivet.com/rivets/blind-pop-advel-rivets/closed-end-blind-rivets/
  13. Lots of drivers put dash cams in their trucks to help protect themselves when car drivers screw up and cut them off or cause accidents.
  14. Search for Wels Catfish Tackle. Eques Wels/GT/Tuna Stick
  15. Yeah, that's actually pretty reasonable. We have a good fish joint here in Yellowknife and it costs me about $35 for lunch and $55 for dinner. So about 30% more than there. But the fish is awesome as are the home made buns.
  16. And this guy says "hold my beer!!!"
  17. I don't know what to think about the ridiculously low bail amount the fellow is out on. Just $1,000. I would think it would be a bit higher considering all the lives ruined. I sure hope this doesn't turn out like that case of the child molester at the West Edmonton Mall wave pool. ?
  18. Citywide Welding in Mississauga does lower units as well as props. They should be able to fix that up for you.
  19. So Toronto ended up with a goalie, 2 wingers, 2 centers and 4 defense men.
