  1. I would call a couple of other dealers and check availability and if they say they are available and in stock I would go to your dealer and threaten to cancel the order. Then see what happens. If they start saying they aren't available tell them you talked to some other dealers that have them in stock and watch the back peddling begin. I love watching liars squirm. :clapping:
  2. Sure, if you think 40% of Canada is a lot. OK, I agree. :tease:
  3. So you don't think Nunavut, the NWT and Yukon are not part of Canada?
  4. The built in expresso dispenser and built in mapping to all citified coffee houses!!!!
  5. If it only had enough power to run my expresso machine life would be grand!!!!
  6. Gordy What he meant was tie a piece of string to the end that plugs into the fish finder (wrap it with electrical tape too). Make sure the string is pretty strong and more than long enough to reach all the way to the back of the boat (tie off the other end of the string to the steering wheel or a seat so you don't accidentally pull it though. when you pull the old transducer cable toward the stern of the boat the string will follow. When you pull the string out at the rear attach to the new transducer cable and reverse the procedure by pulling the string from the front. Make sure you remove any wire ties that are holding the cable in place.
  7. A charger you can cook your morning bacon and eggs on!!! As well as fire up the stove top expresso maker!!!!
  8. He and Tybo figured out the problem (cracked stator assembly) so now he just needs to get the repairs done.
  9. Use the IMG code not the HTML code for embedding photos and the direct link for linking to albums.
  10. Nope!!! Does not. It seems as though Navionics thinks the world ends at the 60th parallel. Unfortunately the only electronic mapping software available that covers my area is on CMap Cartridges. Maybe one day they will have my area on their software but I'm not holding my breath.
  11. I have been using bait casters for almost 30 years now and can tell you that pretty much any of the newer ones are better than any I have previously owned. While on vacation I stopped in at BPS Orlando to purchase a new bait caster as my favorite old Shimano broke a gear this winter and replacements are unavailable. I'm a lefty and their stock was quite low so I ended up with a different model than I really wanted but it is still better than any of my old reels. I ended up with an Abu (can't remember the model but it was one of their inexpensive ones and I'm looking forward to getting some use out of it this summer. The one I wanted but they had no lefty stock on I really liked and ended up ordering one because I was so impressed with it in the store. It also helped that it was onlly $100 for a reel that I figure is worth more because of the quality. Gets good reviews as well. Might be worth checking it out. Bass Pro Shops® Pro Qualifier Reel
  12. Another vote for Efston Science here. Good peeps to deal with and some cool stuff too boot!!! :good: I used to work just down the street a few lifetimes ago and would spend a lot of time in that place.
  13. HELL YEAH!!!! Can't get a decent taco in this country!!!!!
  14. Yep, as well as Nipissing.
  15. Shallow lakes produce sharp, close together waves as well. I like big, deep lake waves much better. 5'-6' waves on Erie are painful.
  16. With enough experience you can handle some really snotty water in a 16 footer. Spent a year guiding in a 16' Lund and was caught out in some nasty waves (to 10') on many occasions and was never worried.
  17. Check out this one. My buddy down south just got one to check out and he say it's pretty good. And it has a strap too. Dri Suit Technologies My buddy has posted his initial review on his web site. Read it and watch the video HERE
  18. And don't ferget yer egg sacks when y'all go steelhead or sammin fishin'. :tease:
  19. I don't know, $78 to save you from bricking a $700 phone seems cheap to me. Try contacting them and see if there is a tethering spot on the case.
  20. Could be a DUI as well. Guess it will be known when the autopsies are done.
  21. Ouch!!! That sucks!!! At least you found the problem. Could be a little spendy to repair though. Here's hoping for the best.
  22. Actually that lever is the fast idle. To choke it push in the key and it will send a shot of fuel into the cylinders.
  23. I think it might go faster when I put the new 115 and jack plate on next year or the year after Mis.
  24. I run a 13X19 on my 1991 90 horse Merc and it revs to about 5,300 with no jack plate. It tops out at about 36 mph with a 3 blade aluminum. This is the boat.
  25. This is the worst time of year to try and purchase a boat or any other summer related toy. Prices are higher and competition for the good items is high. A couple of years ago I purchased a used camper...................in February!!! Saved about $2,500 buying it out of season and had no competition from other buyers when it was -30!!!! Conversely if you're looking to buy a snowmobile or other winter toy now is the time to do it!!!
