Why do you think I left Ontario and moved to The NWT? It certainly wasn't for the extra 4 months of snowman making weather!!!! Less income tax (much less $25K basic exemption, Northern living allowance and travel deductions), no HST, higher pay and the fishing is OK I guess!!!!!

Nope. Food prices are about 10%-15% higher than down South. Inuvik is higher and so are the rest of the small communities. My weekly grocery bill is about $100. I eat a lot of meats and cheeses though as I'm an Atkins guy.

Our price is the same as it has been since 2012.

Here's a Subaru warning for you. One of my employees had two of them that they bought at the same time. An SUV for the wife and a WRX for him. There is no dealer here so all of their oil changes and other maintenance was done by one of the other dealers in town. They made the mistake of not keeping every receipt for said maintenance. Unfortunately both vehicles had engine issues not sure what the issue with his was but hers had a defective timing belt that broke well within the warranty period. Because they didn't have service receipts Subaru Canada denied warranty on both vehicles. They instantly traded in both vehicles on new ones that were not Subaru and vow to never ever purchase another and tell everyone contemplating it not to.

You can get away with S hooks but it is possible for them to come off. I use the type of hooks with spring clips on my boat trailers and use Quick Links on my snowmobile trailer. Just the smell of them makes me ill now so I will never pick it up ever again. Now me rum is a whole nuther thing.

I have the Nautilus three bank from CT. It's made by Schumacher Electric and re-branded with the Nautilus brand. Comes with a 5 year warranty. Had an issue with a fan in mine in year 4 and got a replacement no questions asked. I'm pretty sure the NOCO Genius is the replacement for it. It also carries a 5 year warranty.

Almost 15 1/2 years for me.

Good stuff!!! 49* is the temp I look for early in the season. I've caught lakers while my prop is digging sand to get into those fish.

I'll let you know when I catch it. Just need to get a few 3 metre Great Whites for bait first.

Got home after work and found a Purolator tag on the door knob. Went and picked up my package (a shiny new auto inflating PFD from Cabelas). And the best part was the price $0!!! I won it in Cabelas Canada's FB contest. Much better than the $234 it would have cost if I had to pay for it.

And a lung because I want an HDS 12 at my console the 7 can go on the bow!!!
