  1. I won't be there. I will be hitting the new Cabelas in Anchorage that opened in April & the new BPS that opened there last fall though.
  2. GREAT!!!! I have no money!!! Cabin material purchases add up pretty fast here. And even worse are those unplanned expenses. My espresso machine broke yesterday and I had to fork out over $1200 for a new one.
  3. There were some 80's or 90's Chevy FWD V-6 vehicles with the same issue.
  4. I have seen them in front of the rear tire. In NASCAR!!!!
  5. What do you expect? It's a Chrysler product!!!! They are designed by short bus riding monkeys!!!!
  6. You go to a 14P and you will drop to about 5600 rpms but should gain 1-2 mph on top end while losing a touch of hole shot.
  7. Betcha it's not this bad!!! http://time.com/124434/mosquito-tornado/
  8. The first mossies are just showing themselves here now. The early ones (big and slow) showed up a week or so ago. The small speedy ones are not far behind, followed by hoards of black flies and huge aggressive Caribou (AKA Horse) flies. But at least it's not -40!!!!
  9. I get the flyer on line the day before it is released on paper. http://flyer.canadiantire.ca/CanadiantireSneakPeek/BrowseByPage?PromotionViewMode=1&forceview=y&icid=D323_Flyer_Preview_Main-flyerpreview_EN_2014&atr=ShopLocal&subid=0&linkid=Main-flyerpreview&et_cid=23912683&et_rid=1127729820&linked=Main-flyerpreview&storeid=2400516
  10. CT has Dryguard Boat covers on sale starting later this week. $150 off!!!
  11. I'm afraid you are going to have to be until the Cup has been awarded!!!
  12. HEHE my bad. Took my several minutes to remember which way to go in pitch to reduce RPMs.
  13. I don't know too many things that are better to start your day than opening an email that tells you you won some goodies!!! I checked my email when I got to work this morning and what do I find but a note from Cabelas Canada letting me know that I was a winner in their Facebook PFD give away!!! Got a Cabelas Guideware 3500 auto inflating PFD on the way to me!!! Now I can use my manual just while kayaking and river running and the auto while in the power boat. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Boating/Life-Jackets-Vests/Inflatable-Life-Jackets%7C/pc/104794380/c/104741280/sc/104399280/Cabelas-Guidewear174-3500-Auto-PFD/1801515.uts?destination=%2Fcatalog%2Fbrowse%2Finflatable-life-jackets%2F_%2FN-1100590%2FNs-CATEGORY_SEQ_104399280%3FWTz_l%3DSBC%253BMMcat104794380%253Bcat104741280&WTz_l=SBC%3BMMcat104794380%3Bcat104741280%3Bcat104399280
  14. @ 6200 RPM WOT you are under propped according to your motors specs (RPM range 5000-6000). To get you down into a safer RPM range you should increase pitch to 19" Prop diameter of 13" or 13 1/4". This will drop you to around 5800 WOT. You will gain a little on the bottom end and lose a bit on the top end. Trolling speed will be slightly negatively impacted though.
  15. 4-2 now. It ain't over until the final whistle. Just ask the Leafs.
  16. Of course it was!!! I was when I found out he was leaving. That dude had the highest compete level on the team!!! I really hope he returns.
  17. Talk to your local home insulation guy. Have them spray in some Wall Tight Eco. It is closed cell foam and will not absorb water. The original foam was open cell and it can/will absorb water over time.
  18. EXACTLY!!! You should see what I can do with some lamp cord, a 9V battery and some C4!!!!
  19. I feel the same way about Hummingbird fish finders. Had one in the 80's, it sucked. Can't see past that to even think about buying one now.
  20. 40# is not heavy line. No need to crimp until you hit 80#+ line.
  21. I use either a Trilene knot or a UNI. I also use pliers or the hook of a large spoon to get a grip on the swivel so I can cinch it up properly.
  22. Yep. I'm going to hit the 10GB limit before the end of the month too.
  23. The same thing you and I were @ 17 Bill. WOOHOO!!!!!! ADVENTURE!!!!!
