1. Well I decided to get out and try the boat to see if it is finally repaired I have to thank Paul from Top Gun for repairing it..every time I took it to him it ran great..we went for a run on the lake with him and for an hour of starting and stopping it ran great..so how do you fix something when nothing is wrong......well he finally found the problem and fixed it..he did a lot of work without charging me and through in some used parts trying to figure it out...... my trolling motor died the day I was to take Misfish out on the river...Rockey in Orillia fixed it for me in 2 days.....warranty work..nice so off I go everything worked great however I wanted to fish for whitefish and lake trout but it was just to windy and way to many waves so I stayed in cooks bay and played with my underwater camera you would not believe how many sunfish and bass and rock bass there are in cooks bay, I moved about 10 times and over 2 miles totol but everytime I dropped the camera I saw fish..lots of fish fish everywhere it is just crazy it was hard to record because the waves were lifting the camera up and down..the camera was turning as it pulled through the weeds I caught about 8 bass but spent most of my time watching the fish

6. well I like to use them with a little piece of worm maybe half to one inch sticking out past the hook I use them when the mayfly hatch is happening..... I think it looks like the larval form of the fly....it works but don't tell anyone
7. I switched most of my rods to more limber rods, fiberglass rods work great for me with braids spring jigging for whitefish I notices many people were losing them when they got to the surface...after some checking I realized the people losing them were using braids put 10 feet of mono between the braid and the lure and I quit losing them at the surface as did the guys I fish with the same is true icefishing 10 ft of mono solves a lot of problems.....oh well there goes my secret advantage
8. that was pretty funny

13. I see nothing over my HDS5..except on screen showing how far your signal goes out on bottom the only real-time color LCD sonar unit ..bull what modern unit isn't real time on mine when I lift my jig it goes up the very nanosecond I start to lift it and same going down...can get more real time then that it's a nice unit but I don't like flashers
14. I like being stopped by COs I don't like being stopped by Cops on LakeSimcoe there are 7 different forces and they don't talk to each other about the 7th time I get stopped on a weekend I lose it but the COs ...happy to see them
15. nice walleye

20. nice pictures
21. I love it but I really want the hds8...maybe a 7 but I have been using 7 and 8" older coloured units when I got the 5" hds I found the screen a little small then add the side scan and gps and it's not big enough..I went back to my 25c for the gps giving me a 7" screen then just the fishfinder and scanner on the hds 5 helps but still too small for me...hds8 will be great.. but the hds5 is the best portable icefishing fishfinder I have ever used....I would take it over and flasher or finder for the ice
22. yeah but all my boat problems were not of my making a coil that cut out and water in the trolling motor................my boat ran great today.. so did someone look at the boat
