and lake simcoe isn't happening without a boat
what do you do
you find another lake to fish
and that's just what we did
2.5 hour drive from simcoe but lots of ice
the lake holds walleye whitefish and lake trout
and it did not disappoint us
Lloyd was already on the ice when I got there and had only got a bass so far, but as we caught up on what was happening he hooked into a laker

some whitefish were caught and more walleye, so it was a good day waiting for simcoe to freeze over
I played with my new gopro 3 but was not happy with the underwater low light results. the marcum handled the low light much better...maybe it was the setting on the hero...a work in progress
