  1. I just read it all! Awesome stuff! Definately jealous! I hope to someday soon get up there! I'm guessing you won't be guiding the Viola's next year lol! I thought I liked their show....now I'm bummed. I hate hearing stuff like that. I'm glad my impression of Mr Pyzer still stands. Cheers.
  2. looks good to me!
  3. Hi everyone! I have a 1995 XLT touring with 6k miles that I rebuilt 300 miles ago. All is virtually new! The problem I'm having is she won't fire up using the electric start. It turns over...battery is full but won't fire! Crazy thing is every time I try cranking it with the key and it doesn't start, It'll fire within two pulls of the chord!??? Any ideas? I already had someone suggest I change the ignition switch (which I did) but it didn't work! Help! It's not that big a deal, but I'd like the wife to be able to start it. I appreciate your comments. Thanks.
  4. done. Good luck
  5. I too have a model 30 that came with a 10 inch. Recently bought an 8 inch auger for it (fearing my 3 y/o would step into it). I was happy with the 10 inch and am ecstatic with the 8 inch. That 3hp motor really cuts FAST with the 8 inch!
  6. I'll buy 4 @ 25 a pop???? PM me
  7. Being from a walleye starved area yet a trout infested area I often laugh how I crave the eyes yet you (not you personally)at times hunt what we call grease ballls! lol I refuse to fish lakers and only target the square tails and get them in abundance and pay money to fish perch and walleye! Funny!
  8. congrats! Great looking family. All the best! Cheers.
  9. Although I appreciate a differing opinion.....your "first" post lessens the value of your opinion! As someone in the market for a trip I'd love proof. Snofari is still off my list of outfitters. Don't get me wroong....we all need a place to make our first post, but a "defence" post ain't the place to garner credentials. Sorry.
  10. Beer! OV preferred! Usually red wine or Moody Blue ice fishing!
  11. climb into the truck and spin it around in the bed of the truck and let it go down first and you follow behind.
  12. awesome stuff! I'm sure dad was as proud as son. Congrats to both of you.
  13. ...look back on your old posts about your "new ride". Been there done that with your "gay purple sled". Your story is going to keep me up at night for a week! Some say those triples are "bullet proof" I say they're expensive! Here's my timeline......buy sled three years ago with less than 5k miles in too good to be true shape for 2500 from a guy I know....enjoy for 600 miles and blow water pump. Spend 500 to fix then shortly after blow crank and blow two grand rebuilding.....I've owned the sled this is now my third winter and still don't have 6000 miles. If you look back on your original post I sarcastically stated how great a deal that was....but I didn't want to burst your bubble. Good luck.
  14. OV OV just say OV!
  15. Here's a link from BPS http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...0003000_250-3-1
  16. My wife bought me a Hummingbird 363 Fishfinder/gps for christmas! Anyone have any input or feedback? What I can find online is quite positive! I can't wait to use it!
  17. I actually picked up a hard copy today. Any lake in particular you're looking for?
  18. I'm not a religious man...yet I'll try! My prayers are.....
  19. Fished the area hard and often as I have friends who own a cottage on the chain of lakes and it's a tough nut to crack! All species are present though.... Bass can be big!
  20. Go to sears.ca and type in 52839 into the search engine. These are available now! Also the 52848. I've got a dozen available to me as a dealer store and so should most others.
  21. .....cold for sure! My beer froze tonight while working on the ice rink! Ice will be thick and I too think I need to find an extension for my Jiffy! Let me know if you find a good spot.
  22. ....strange isn't it! A week ago I was telling everyone we'd have disastrous ice and now we're making ice! My little rink in my backyard is loving it too! To think I was cursing that rain while it was coming down. The lakes here in Elliot Lake are close!
  23. nothing scarier (for me anyway) than seeing them circle a huge school of bait fish and watch them them do their thing! I've witnessed this a few times in Providence Bay on Manitoulin Island while salmon fishing! Unreal sight! We wonder why the salmon numbers are both down in size (pure fish girth/weight) and numbers. I say eradicate!
  24. That was awesome! Congrats on a superb year!
  25. How'd you make out?
