  1. Hi Every one I'm looking for some advice on modifying my boat. I have a 14.5 ft deep v tinny and I want to remove the bench seats and add in a floor and a casting deck. I would like to also add a front trolling motor and a compartment for the battery. Any advice on resources available on the the web or pictures of projects that anybody has done? This might be a silly question to some but how do I remove the bench seats?
  2. Those are a lot of fun to catch! Thanks for sharing.
  3. Some good times and really beautiful fish, congrats!
  4. They are considered a musky, like most have said.
  5. some nice pictures!
  6. Very nice looking fish, thanks for sharing!
  7. Thanks for the comments guys!
  8. I have done very well with lipless crankbaits for both small mouth, and large mouth bass, pike, walleye and muskies.I have a lot more luck on lakes that are very stained and murky.
  9. I don't get to post many reports or go fishing a whole lot with two little kids now that take up most of my time. I have been out a few times in the past year and a bit. Out only once this year. I joined the local muskies club here in southeastern PA and they do a whole lot of cool stuff, like raising money, stocking fish, fish rescues (rescuing muskies that get swept over a damn in to small creeks), lake clean ups, etc. I got to fish some interesting lakes and rivers here in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Susquehanna and Delaware rivers are really beautiful. I have yet to catch a river fish which is my next goal. I miss fishing for muskies in ontario. I will be coming back in July for the month and will be fishing Nipissing, the Kawarthas and Georgian bay. Here are few of the muskies that I have caught down here south of the border. Nothing huge, but still pretty fun. This one lake that the muskie club has been stocking now for 6 years is doing really well. The fish are up to 42-43 inches and many people are catching our fish. Although the bass clubs hate our muskies and are complaining that the muskies are eating all the bass. I had a great day last year when a front was coming through and I managed to catch 3 fish (38,35 and 32)in 2 hours and 2 fish were on back to back casts which was pretty nice. At the time these fish were only about 3-4 years old. We have some nice tiger muskies in our lakes but I think they are harder to catch then the pures. I have caught a few in the spring and they are really pretty.
  10. Great report, some real nice fish!
  11. My condolences to you and your family. thanks for sharing with us.
  12. Im pretty sure its a barred musky. I have caught several tigers and this does not resemble them.
  13. Final got a chance to chase some muskies. Its been a while and its hard to get out with two little ones. There was some nice cloud cover. Water temps down here are around 68-69 degrees right now. This lake is crazy busy with pleasure boaters all over the place and we figured the cloud cover and chance of rain might hold them off (It did, but only for a little bit). Anyways there are some big fish in this lake, and this is my second time fishing here. I have seen pictures of several 50's out of this lake. The locals who fish it told us that you can only catch them trolling and not casting. My friend and I didn't believe them, so we gave casting a try. Ended up catching a nice little piggie that measured 40".It was my first fish on a suick. Not a very big fish by ontario standards but not bad down here being very close to New York City.Anyways let her go after a quick picture and she took off after she hit the water.
  14. thanks for the report, Lew sounds like fun!

  17. looks like a really nice trip, thanks for sharing.
  18. Thinking of renting a cottage on this lake. Just wondering what type of fish are present in the system (Restoule, Stormy) and more importantly is there a fishable musky population?
  19. There are pike in six mile, just look for the weeds and some deep water near by.
