  1. Love it. Bring it on. If need be I'll fit a wheelchair with chain and skis

  3. What a heavenly weekend of fall fishing. All the essentials lined up perfectly for you. Good weather, good water and good company. What more could you need.

  8. You could have heard a pin drop in the halls of the hospital. The announcer on the PA system had a hard time reading through the poem
  9. I'm Baaack Thank you for your best wishes. It was nice to read when I got home. Been home 2 hours and now catching up on the important things.. Fishing Had 2 really rough days, but things started turning around fast yesterday. The Dr. managed to remove a lot of the tissue build up around the spinal cord, but the recovery process is going to be lengthy. Don't have much feeling in the legs and I rather unsteady, but heck, I just got home. As for the purdy nurses, I got the ones with the purdy finger bobbles. The nurses were top flight and professional and a pleasure to deal with.
  10. Seems I have a long overdue date with the scalpel. With any luck I'll be back in a week giving everyone grief.
  11. Well done. I'll have to keep you informed when the bite turns on for the smelt.
  12. Got to admit there is a special feeling that comes with going to market. The people, noise, smells, the "FOOD".... It's hard to keep losing weight when you are down wind of the chip truck, fish fryer and sausage wagon By accident, a couple of days of helping my buddy out turned into a hectic, yet fun, summer However, yesterday was my last for the season under beautiful blue skies. St Jacobs is really a unique marketplace, and, a lot of fun. The silly grin comes from having sold just about everything we had in the truck. Not a bad way to end the season.
  13. With an accent like that, I should think so. Simon certainly doesn't sound like a 'wog' You sure do have nice water in your backyard. Almost makes me envious.
  14. I'm kinda used to falling. It's the landing part that I just can't get used to
  15. The moment that buck is in your crosshairs, you'll not even notice the weather cept to adjust for the wind.
  16. ....will keep the fishing junky from his appointed task. It was wet, windy ,and not nice, but I was not staying indoors. Off to the stagnating town of Welland in search of perchies. Took a while, but found the perch and gills all schooled together in a feeding frenzy. Guess the weather front turned on the appetite. Kept me a decent number for dinner. As usual, a lot of fun. Also indulged in another one of my bad habits; going for a flying leap Ground sure was hard this time.
  17. Everybody hop on the bandwagon. You've slipped to 17
  18. Only if the redneck angler was Mariko
