  2. Back in the day. What i use to do was use a piece of wood and put it between the inside of the canoe and I would clamp it down. Of course the canoe was an older one but man it worked flawlessly. Just make sure the shaft clears at the lowest point of the hull. Most trolling motors have different trim settings.

  5. Hey Guys and Gals, Going to spend the day on Lake of Bays tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone knew of a restaurant in walking distance on the water. We would like to park the boat and check out a local marina for shopping and maybe fries and a burger. Going to be launching out of Baysville. Thanks in Advance
  6. Mac OS X users may need to reapply the execute permissions to the stand-alone installer after it has finished downloading. To reapply the execute permissions, open a Terminal window, and type the following command (this assumes you downloaded the file to your desktop): chmod +x desktop/LMS-52XC_250.command

  10. Our Shorelander trailers have the snap hooks on them. We recommend having the hook facing up. If the hook was facing down and a rock were to hit the snap there could be a possibility for the chain to come off. This goes the same for ppl with hooks without snap's. Some ppl still use the closed snaps. But you spend more time twisting the locks on and off than unhooking it from the vehicle.
  11. With selling Mercury Outboards. We recommend using Mercury Products and with every new outboard we sell. Mercury Marine Product
  12. Just talked to the owner from LeBaron. They will have a revamped website in the very, very near future. That's all i'm going to say lol
  13. What Fisherman Said, I sell Mercury and my Price on a Mercury 2.5HP 4-Stroke is $899. For the Price difference of $170, it comes standard with a 3 year warranty plus an additional 2 years on top (Merc Promo). I personally think in this case, service after the sale for outboards is more important. Just cause our season is so short and who really wants to wait for a part to come in.
  14. I would look into a marine unit. I've seen car decks maybe last a year. They don't like the cold nights and moisture

  24. Since outboards are still made by man, we must always allow for a bad lemon in the bunch. This bad lemon usually shows up within the first 20 hours of running time. It's just a pre-caution, same thing with breaking in an outboard. It gives all the moving parts time to meet and greet each other
