  1. I think the Leafs might be over achieving a little bit. Anderson has been great. I think the Oilers are underachieving and I wouldn't be surprised if they get back on track (hopefully not starting tonight) and make the playoffs and do some damage. I'm gonna be a little tired tomorrow, so be it, I'm looking forward to this game.
  2. I woke up later, it was still dark out, crawled into my tent. I woke up in the morning, nothing was stolen, I wasn't raped and he was gone and his camp site was vacant. I don't know what he was doing, just practicing, got cold feet for whatever he was going to do?
  3. True story. I was solo camping at a State Park in Texas, the off season, not many people around. Another guy pulled in a few sites down. We ended up hanging out and chatting at my campfire for a couple hours at night, slamming beers. I would put my beer down on the picnic table and walk to the edge of the bush when I had to pee. Suddenly, like a switch was thrown, I was high as a kite and my head was spinning. I said gonna call it a night, he said ok, good night and disappeared quickly. I stumbled a few steps and collapsed into the dry, desert dirt. I rolled over on my back and I could see the guy standing over me in the flickering fire light, then I passed out. A very weird drug. I was conscious but immobile. I knew what was happening and was sure I was going to get killed or raped but I wasn't panicked, it was as if I was watching it all unfold from outside my body, if that makes any sense.
  4. The ammo prices haven't seem to come back down to where they were before Obama threatened stricter gun control. I think there is a lot of hoarders out there, lol.
  5. Holy Christ that first one is a beauty specimen! It must have felt pretty good to get back out on the hard water again.
  6. So you're not a leafs or sens fan, what's your motive? getting rises? I think most of the leafs fans on this thread are like me, realistic, we are a middle of the pack team. Yeah, we are passionate. It's the miserable hatred that's interesting, maybe a little disturbing too.
  7. the leafs are in an obvious free fall
  8. He doesn't toot his own horn but he's way more junkie, knowledgeable and dialed in than I will ever be.
  9. For a big in board tank like yours I would go full, like other guys have said, stabilizer (ran through the fuel system ) and premium, no ethanol, it might be a good idea to absolutely make sure the gas has no ethanol, it could be a 100 liter mess in the spring
  10. Nose to the grindstone Mike, I sense some urgency coming from Bunk, lol, there is guys who look forward to and appreciate stuff like this
  11. Thanks guys, it's a Hide'n out report but we actually slipped into the Muskokanees, Chuck put on a clinic, it's nice down here, I am in shorts and a T shirt sweating but my hearts in Haliburton
  12. For the price of these things I would also consider either down sizing to an ATV or up sizing to an actual small 4wd SUV or small 4wd pick up. I don't know what you plan to use it for though. The price versus advantages ratio just seems off.
  13. not too long ago somebody wrote the Leafs are in an obvious freefall
  14. This is kinda out there and irrelevant but is it just me or is there some weird dudes that sit in the penalty box, what is the purpose of those guys in suits, a guy just patted Kadri, I find it bizarre, weirdo pedophile disturbing kinda guys in there
  15. I am heading down south in 2 days. There won't be anyone wearing toques or gloves or long underwear down there . There won't be a cold north wind or grey, miserable days. There won't be any ice on the ponds or the back bays. The only ice will be in the rum drinks. There won't be any kindling to make or logs to split or ashes to clean. The only fire will be for the pig roast. There definitely won't be any snow to shovel. The only need for a shovel would be to scoop up all the bull crap spewing from the other people's mouths at the bar. There won't be this and there won't be that, but sadly there won't be any of these.
  16. It sounds like those tigers made an impression on you. Great story Mike. Did you see many boats? are many guys fishing them? I'm looking forward to part 2 of the tigers and the aurora story.
  17. Yeah, it's disappointing how lame the ACC is. Lots of executroids looking at their cell phones all game. I bet it would give the Leafs a boost if the crowd would make some noise once in a while.
  18. I really thought Babcock and company would have had the team playing better defensively by this point. The GA is high and the shots on goal allowed is crazy. Last night for example the Wild almost doubled the Leafs shots, 37- 19. I'd say they stole that one, long term, it's a recipe for trouble.
  19. Jealousy? I'm glad the Leafs didn't pony up like that for Duchene
  20. alright, I guess start planning the parade route, you win
  21. No, the way I understand it is your 1st round pick is gone to the Aves, but not subject to the lottery.
  22. That reminds me the old Leaf's strategy. Cliff Fletcher once said "draft picks, smaft picks". Not sure I agree with that.
  23. Sometimes guys like Duchene benefit from a fresh start on a new team, but yeah Ottawa did pony up quite a bit to take that gamble. The Sens are officially going all in this season.
  24. I didn't accelerate that hard and it was dry it was a computer damn up Nobody should have to do your "standard starting procedure" with all the modern technology and the simpletons driving now
  25. I'm not a Chrysler fan. I bought a Jeep because I've always wanted a Jeep and Chrysler makes Jeep. 2 weekends ago I was trying to squirt into 4 lanes of traffic on highway 35, I saw the gap and went for it, the traction control light flashed and I lost pretty much all power leaving me a sitting duck. Love my Jeep but I won't be surprised if there's expensive problems down the road, hopefully it doesn't cost me my life, lol.
