  1. Colourful little suckers Bruce Bet those are going to be tasty in the frying pan
  2. That's awesome Simon Congrats to little Jack
  3. For brookies, I always start with a simple setup... light line (mono my preferred type 6lbs ) a size 4 hook and a dewie... cast out and let it fall naturally... if there's any trout in the vasinity you'll know real quick Also keep your shadow from reflecting in the water... always have the sun in your face Good luck and tight lines Leechman
  4. Here's a pic Brian You'll find them near cricks and where shade is abundant.... like I said, when the dandelions are out, those will be out as well as the fiddles
  5. That was my first though too... looks similar to this one I have 2 of them and use them for ice fishing... it's 20 years old and still kicking
  6. Awesome hammercarp Congrats
  7. You're on the wrong team but I give you this.... she's a beaut congrats on your PB
  8. Brian, watch for dandelions in your area.... when they're out... time to go hunting for fiddles and wild garlic aka in french ail des bois

  10. Looks like you're back into the groove eh Simon nothing like a good feed to end the day Great job mon ami
  11. We have just about the same ice conditions as you have Chad... lots of floating icebergs I went Friday morning for some brookies and bows but returned home with white stripes unfortunately Season is closed now and have to wait for opener "end April" to get back at it Time to attack the todo list now
  12. Excellence at it's best Awesome work Chris
  13. By the looks of it, you'll be fishing from the front lawn soon Simon Over here, ice is gone but season ends March 31st I got Friday off so I'll be going after the pokadots and bows one last time then have to wait for opener, April 27th
  14. That's awesome Chad Congratulations to the both of you
  15. Edit: I should of explained myself in more details.... here we go I never use braid on my softwater gear, only mono and tie direct to the lures unless I'm targeting trout, where a snap swivel comes in handy for a slip bobber type rig On hard water, I use braid and a barrel swivel between a mono leader to cut down on line twist since I'm fishing with a vertical presentation It's also true for softwater jigging
  16. You read my mind Joey cause that's exactly what I do... Snap swivel is only used when I target the bottom of the water column
  17. Awesome Rob Congrats to the both of you
  18. Now that's real funny Ron That dress looks perfect for the golf course
  19. YEP
  20. I repeat myself... Don't kid yourself too much Sens will crumble in the first round like they usually do
  21. Don't kid yourself too much
  22. The Sens
  23. That's awesome Vince Congrats on your PB Chunky looking brown
  24. Now that's more like it Matt Didn't mean to single you out but got a little ticked off by your snarly remarks I don't usually get involve in this but it was just too much for me but it's all good now Tight lines Leechman
  25. Craig, they couldn't even beat the Habs in regulation time either But that's beside the point. What ticked me off was the bashing and not having any respect for the NHL team name "The Leafs" not the laffs.... that has been going on for some time now At first it was funny, but has it got older, got tireing, irritating and old age. I know it's all in fun but to me was all wrong.... I don't care who you root for, but please have respect by all means Just thought I'd shared what triggered this behaviour of mine. Tight lines Leechman
