  1. Good to see you out there again Brian. I hope to get with my boys Sunday afternoon for some perchin'.
  2. Drove 15 hours to golf in the snow. Had fun regardless.
  3. CT has some ice rod combos 50% off starting tomorrow. You should take a look.
  4. Great pictures. Amazing how you still don't have daylight pics of those big Bucks with 3400 pictures taken. Thems smart critters.
  5. That's cool. I would do that!
  6. great pics. thanks for posting
  7. Nice Hogs, great pics. Good to see you getting the young lad out.
  8. Nice brute. Congrats. It doesn't seem to resemble the bucks from your trail cam pics. I guess there are few more big boys running around out there. Do you still have your camera setup?
  9. Great pics and beautiful fish. Thanks for the report
  10. Had another young buck come around at the 6pm mark again but of course when I wasn't there to take it. Watched this big girl for about 20 minutes yesterday as the sun went down as the trail cam caught the moment. Sure wish I had applied for my Doe tag There is a third young buck coming around during the night only and keeping his distance from the camera. I took down the camera while the controlled hunt is on. I will have to see who is still around next weekend when I put it back up.
  11. Looks like a great vantage point from that blind location. Would be good for calling in some Yotes after iron season too. Hope to see you nail that big buck that got the drop on you last year. I enjoyed watching a mature doe for about 20 minutes this afternoon from my blind. It was really great to observe her at eye level from less than twenty yards. I will be out there again in the morning and afternoon. Hope to have a buck come in before the controlled hunt drives them all to night time activity only. Good Luck!
  12. Yes I am limited to a small area to hunt. The adjacent properties hold the deer but they travel through my corner of the woods when they travel from their food source to their bedding areas. They only bed in my area come winter. Once the controlled hunt happens I will only get pics of bucks at night. The ladies are around every day though. I hope this weekend is productive with the lower temps coming.
  13. I will be working on Saturday for sure and hope to be sitting in my blind on Sunday. Two more different small bucks have paid a visit to my camera but only at night.
  14. I continue to have constant visitors to camera but all but one are Does. I don't have an antler-less tag. Here are a few of the better ones. I can't believe that I am not catching any bigger bucks on camera.
  15. Good report. It was a great day to be on the water. I worked instead though
  16. That is a load of action for just a few days. I have had my camera out for three weeks and only have one small buck posing for pictures.
  17. Wolf's Den is a good place to start. They deal with most manufacturers (PSE, HOYT, Mathews, Bowtech etc) and will let you shoot them on site. They also have package deals and 2nd hand bows. Just take your time with choosing the right one for you. The best bow is the one YOU can shoot accurately with.
  18. Beauty bucks. Hope you catch them during daylight hours.
  19. I hate that about my blind too and even some of my hunting clothes.
  20. I sure hope so. It all depends on what work I get myself into.
  21. It must be very hard for you to boat away knowing that you won't see it again for six months. I can almost feel your pain just looking at your pictures. That is a sweet setup. Good on ya for taking up your lad. It was the best thing for both of you(and your Dad).
  22. They were still looking yesterday. I was down in Gilford again and the York Police were combing the shoreline and bay for hours Saturday afternoon.
  23. It's for the Lazer canon.
  24. Is the bear near your home or at the camp?
  25. That's freakin' wicked!
