  2. great seeing you friday man! that last fish is a monster..how did you land that??lol
  3. great job Cliff! i was also out hunting some steel today in the east, but no luck... however, yesterday was a different story
  4. google map lake O, lake Erie, georgian bay, lake huron..find the tributaries that flow into those lakes..and 90% chance there will be steelheads in those rivers. really, there are no "secret spots" in steelheading...you just got to do the foot work..
  5. i checked the site every 2-3 hrs hoping it would be up.. finally!!!
  6. the rain we're getting tonight and tomorrow might help the melting..MIGHT..

  11. used the 10lb on my spinning setup last summer for bass. way too much memory!!! it would break off on a snag 90% time.. not using it again.
  12. spooled 8lb sufix, didnt have the confidence without knowing the breaking point of the line. so i spooled it back with siglon 10lb..and i know it will break at 10!
  13. i agree with all of you guys 100%. i first watched the show for 10 minutes then gave up to another channel. never watched his show ever again.. Getting hooked is an amazing show..but Oasis keeps repeating it. is there only like 5-10 shows out there???
  14. i guess im going to the fishing show instead this weekend
  15. OMG!!!
  16. OMG!!!
  17. im guessing you saw the weekly promo at basspro?? if not, they are sell the L2 for $199 this week.. I was actually in the same boat as you maybe 2 months ago. before i switched to simms, i've been wearing neoprene for the summer/fall...and i must say..GET BREATHABLES!!you stay as warm as neoprene in the winter, and when you walk the creeks, the sweat will get out faster than neoprene.. just make sure you get 1-2 size bigger. the best way is to put on the waders, and bend over all the way and see if you feel comfortable (no homo).

great job!! the hen is HUGE. i guess being on a boat has a lot more advantage at the niagara..i was skunked yesterday from shore =/
  19. once you lose a good size fish with your old leader, your going to throw the lines out before you know it... people say leaders have ONE YEAR shelf life..its your own risk to take when using old leaders..who knows for mainline, i spooled up with 8lb sufix elite, its performing quite well with both siglon and maxima leaders (4 and 6lbs). very little memory and soft..i've also used siglonV and siglonF in 10lb, both great lines...
  20. they look amazing.. going out in the cold weather paid off its been too long since i saw open water! maybe niagara is the only place thats fishable
  21. very sorry to hear it Lew. Hang tight!
  22. been using vaseline all season, no problem.
  23. ok so i spent a decent amount of money on this pin, and i chose a colour you guys think thats retarded. it's not like your using the pin, i am..so dont bash. i know i still catch the same amount of fish comparing to my old pin, but its the craftsmenship i paid (im sure people who have played around with a kingpin will know what i mean). are you guys going to bash on the next guy who buys a carrot stick??cause its so orange?? anyways, fishing is an expensive hobby.
  24. wow i never knew CO's carry guns with them anyways, great report and pictures! i still have yet to try ice fishing this winter
