    Trigger X

I have them in the store.Terry funny you say that, when I opened one 3 of us said that as well, reminded us of what to expect when you take her camping on an island for a week:)
  2. Always on the left, for safety (clear view) and boat balance to counter the driver. If you can't then you can mount on the right, it's just not the way to go when you have a choice.
  3. The single biggest reason to use one now? Accuracy, yes you can spool spinning reels with heavy braid and get heavy rods which used to be an advantage to casting reels but you will never beable to place a lure as accurately with a spinning reel.
  4. Love em, an amazing talent!!! A little deep for the "Twisted Sister" crowd maybe lol
  5. I fished it heavily for 7yrs since I had a trailer there and it's nothing special for Pike/walleye,just stop when you hit Quinte and get fishing
  6. No I have not been on any, please by all means forward the info,I appreciate it.
  7. looking to rent for 1 wk. starting week of July 25th or Aug. 1st. Rice lake or something close to Kingston/Redeau area. Pm me if you have anything
  8. As said,it depends on the type of water you fish, but if it's anything other than close too flat most days or very small lakes, glass, glass, glass
  9. Irishfield is correct,if you tow with a lower GVWR rated vehicle you can be under and legal, just not nessecarily safe .I just had a customer come in that was fined for this last yr towing his Z20 Ranger with an Avalanche and he just check with MTO officer's and got his inspection since his Silverado/boat are over the limit.Looks like I'll sell my Suburban,it's not legal without inspection for me to tow 2200lbs,what a farce.
  10. BJ's (Ben) is the ticket for rentals, longer rental time and great rates. He has a good shop as well with everything you'll need.
  11. I sell them,I can do an order by phone, just give me a part #.
  12. Super baraid is great line, especially on a spinning reel as the weave is alittle finer than power pro.You should check out the new Sonic braid, coarser weave with a treatment that makes it super slick, casts a mile.
  13. No the 1 day Great lakes is not valid in Muskoka. He needs the 8 day sport $43.50 or the 8 day conservation $25.25.I am an issuer so this info is 100% correct.
  14. It's too bad some people have poor ediquet around water front owners docks,it gives the rest a bad name.If a person(s) is using the dock, fish around it but keep moving,if they have boats tied up don't pitch to them right in front of them.I have not once had someone yell or be rude and I fish tons of docks,if your friendly and respect thier space/property then no problems. As mentioned "IF YOU CAN'T FISH DOCKS WITHOUT DINGING BOATS" don't do it period if people are around, you just ruin it for everyone else. Ps. unless you have done something to provoke them I would never leave becuase they rant etc.,if you are legally fishing there people like this need to be stood up too, they don't have the right to infringe on the rights of others and it sets a dangerous precident
  15. Roy and Lew are 100% correct, everything off the starter, always
  16. Not sure about the west,I sell'em in the east gta
  17. either would be fine, both rated for 3500lb with mid. size v6 and loaded that rig would top out about 2400 complete
  18. I have the unit for you ,PVC 9'6" with a 55" beam and a double hull with a tri-hull bottom, split rear bench rated for 5hp.You can stand and move around in it,the most important thing on a small boat is beam with a wide bottom for lateral stability.
  19. Lew I would guess they are legal since Allison makes a boat with built in head lights that has been imported into Ontario for re-sale and shown at a number of boat shows.
  20. Castaway, unless it porpoises all the time regardless of load which indicates a basic set-up problem ie. engine height and or setback then adjusting height won't fix it.Does it cavitate outta the hole or on moderate turns? If not and it runs good when your not stearn heavy then your setup is good, you just need to make allowances for when your stern heavy, either run a fin or as stated put more weight up front to counter balance.
  21. Put a fin on your cavatation plate,it will carry a load better at low speeds without porpoising and improve hole shot. It's porpoising because it's stern heavy when your loaded.
  22. Radnine you can charge the batteries onboard, you should trickle charge them over the winter even when in doors as they will discharge. You should you RV bio-degradable anti-freeze but if you didn't run some fresh water through the lines in the drive way to wash it out and dilute it.As for fogging just drop it in the water (don't do this with people close by) and warm it up at a fast idle, fogging will burn off and away you go.Grease all fittings and give everything the once over before heading too the water.
  23. Yes they are good Sled, you got it right,m-27's for deep cycles and m-24 cranking (unless you have a dfi engine, then I would run the biggest crank that fits your boat, they require more reserve to crank). And the marine starting are supposed to have thicker plates and are designed to handle being bounced around.
  24. My father devoted his later years to the gun lobby fighting bill c-68 and the likes of Wendy Cukier and Mr. Miller. It's too bad joe public was not better informed on the issues as this would expose Miller as no more than a self serving political points fear mongerer, but unfortunately facts get twisted/misrepresented and people buy into his smoke and mirrors dribble. It's been said that "sense isn't always so common".The biggest thing the gun lobby has lacked is a front man that was effective in media relations and speaking/appealling to the general public to counter the agenda's of the above mentioned.
  25. Don't pay someone!!!! it's easy to do,get you some marine buffing compound (3m or Meguires is good) and a buffer (trust me you can do it lol),just keep it at a slow speed and don't press too hard in one spot so you don't burn the gel,as said wet sanding is a last resort.Watch for the metal flake to change color while buffing, that means you gone through the clear into the gel, stop buffing that area.
