I'm considering becoming a dealer for them and just wondering if there would be much interest?IM me with comments good or bad etc.

Stoty don't pay too much attention to NADA values, their guide has more holes in it than a speed freak, the best thing is to comparison shop similar boats.I will second what niceguy said, you may find under 18' is VERY small once you get used to it and will not have the speed, rough water handling or stability at rest a 18'+ w/v-6 has.
-
I would strongly suggest you talk to the guy with the 115 opti and compare boats, the 2 stroke would perform much better and they are the same on fuel/maintance costs. The 4 stroke would be a dog compared to the Merc.Go to bassboatcentral.com/boats for sale Ranger page to get an idea of different models values in US dollars.

Thx guys.I have the right connectors, need to switch one over to the good transducer (which is Eagle and doesn't fit my Lowrance).Forest you can be my teacher
-
Anybody ever put the 2 pieces back together?I ask because I have a pooched 200khz Lowrance transducer and a good 200khz eagle transducer, they have different plugs and I was considering combining them to create 1 good trans for my Lowrance, thoughts?

I have and do fish both,I find the weave alittle tighter on the super braid making it smoother therefore I prefer it for spinning reels. The PP seems to be more abrassion resistent.I like the red PP,the theory is that red disappears 1st in the light spectrum under water and I find it less visable than green.

What you want to do really requires several different rods, you can compromise and do everything with one but I would suggest you narrow down the techniques/application you will use most often and then select the quality/action/length best suited.

Good idea if you can to put a small space heater in it for a few days to dry it.If you can't it won't do any damage to your carpet etc. but assuming you have wood floors it would be best to dry it so they don't sit wet when it warms up.

Well Nip. and Simcoe are huge fisheries so pressure would be less of a concern and Haliburton has many smaller lakes that don't have the resort concentrations on any single body of water the Kawartha's do.They also rotate Laker lakes in Haliburton to offset pressure.I don't know about Muskoka?
-
This is only my guess but I always figured it was to protect the fisheries from over harvest BECAUSE these lakes all have (except Scugog) Tourist Resorts and local economies based on summer tourism.

You are right DouG,we don't guess at thing's.I don't have supporting data but it wasn't really off the top of my head either,I put some analytical thought into it ,came up with a no-brainer,for the average fresh water fisherman around here it's worthless and adds zero value ,now snatch that pebble

Shawn,I maybe able to save you a drive to tromblay's.I have a 500c and 25% so with gas it's a wash for you.

I have a Six Sigma Blackbelt which means I can statically measure, quantify, compare a process to validate changes/make comparisons/improvements and prove it out statistically and off the top of my head I can pretty much say for certain that 1/nobody has actually proved this out 2/it makes ZERO statistical difference in casting distance.Just another "bait to hook us instead of fish" lol

Glad to see this post.I planned on stocking these for spring.I have looked at but never fished them,as said there are 3 different finishes and they do have a natural look.Having said that these baits in most situations are a pure contact bait, not something that's sucess hinges on the visual read the fish gets,it's more about lateral line and a fishes overall perception of it's target.I believe assuming the bait sends out a favorable vibration it should catch it's share and maybe better than many in clear water fished with alot of pauses due to it's finish.I respect the opinions of those that were not impressed and guess time will tell as too the true value of these.

Trim and water pressure.Approx $50 each for the kits.

Have you taken possession? There is a law dictating a grace period were by the contract can be broken and goods returned/refunded if you have,I believe it's 8 days but not sure.If not taken yet tell them to correct the problem or you won't be completing the contract and your lawyer will deal with them, that will do it period!!!As Charles said, these guys may not be the type of dealer you want to have to deal with for warranty etc..If you have paid for and can't break the contract, simply file a claim in small claims court for the $1,000 you have documentation they will be judged against if the don't show and an order issued against them and if they show you should win judgement hands down for the $1,000 + your court costs.

Your overall success in fishing for Pros' and non pro's?
hirk replied to bassfighter's topic in General Discussion
I have fished for 40 something years,my opinion on this is that to be sucessful you need to love to fish 1st and foremost, after that you must be able to learn the theory and apply it.This comes from a hunger for knowlege and time on the water. After years of building up the library of skills/knowlege it becomes increasingly easier to adapt and capitolize on whatever situation you are faced with, nothing can replace time on the water.I used to get skunked often back in the early 80's but it's been 8-10yrs since it's happened,I can look back and see how I got to were I am,if the desire is there it's just a matter of time to get to the next level and so on. -
Down both prevents gear case cracking and minimizes stress on trim system. You can leave it up if you seal-up the bullet but why would you? JWL, you are risking serious harm to your engine turning it over dry, minimum you will wear out the impeller or worse end up with fragments of it in your cooling system. It takes about 5 seconds at idle to fry one.

I have customs, you select either a Diachi or Owner deep throat hook/jig and I have 20 different color skirts that you can choose from to finish it off with.3/8 & 1/2 w/wo rattles.

As a number of guys have stated you can't beat an Allumacraft, get the 2xb hull and you have a beautifull running bullet proof boat, best built tin boat made.
