Ok. Now we need to see something. Either a vid to see it moving in the water or a pic of a fish with it in its mouth.
-
LOL at the add from CTC. Full Cork Rod!!! I have never seen a full cork rod.
-
That is a big mouth indeed. Looks a bit too big for the rest of the fish. Nice fish none the less and congrats on the PB!
-
I tried launching that way. only once though.

cup and saucer. Nice. I have the same pics from 23 years ago. We used to cottage on Manitou. Nice lake. Good smallies as well as lakers.
-
with a net?? Too bad. I believe a 102 lb was netted there as well. That fish must be 1000000 years old.
-
met too. I went out today for 2 hours and managed only 2 smallies and the biggest one was 1.5 pounds

Awesome couple days of topwater smallies PIC HEAVY

wow and wow. Now if you could give me the coordinates of the lake please. lol. Nice fish indeed. As for the lost pike. When I was 12 I caught my first lake trout (looked to be a nice 8 pounder or so) and my dad managed to knock it off while netting it. I must admit I had a little cry in the boat. But tell your son not to worry. I managed to catch many more lakers after that. He will get a big pike again. -
milky of course is generally not a good sign sign if it is the gear oil. That means water is getting into the bottom end. Hoprfully it is nothing major like a small gasket or seal. Sorry I can't help.

Is that 4 pounds 11 ounces or 4.11 pounds. There is a big difference. 4.11 pounds is actually 4 pounds 1.76 ounces. I am assuming it is 4 pounds 11 ounces because you as what is next 4.15 which I think you mean is 4 pounds 15 ounces. Either way that is a nice fish indeed. I would have guessed 5 pounds for sure.

Or Morning Wood Looks cool.

wow, someone bought one of those. Let us know how it works.

And if it were the other way around, which board would he post it on?

I almost became a meteorologist. I went to a football recruitment weekend to McGill when I was in my final year of high school and I had a great time. I applied and got into the meteorology program (might have been an environmental science degree, can't remember but the major was meteorology). It is a moot point as I got early acceptance to Waterloo and never went to McGill. Kind of glad I didn't go. I don't know too many people who like meteorologist lately. All I can say is bring on the global warming Al Gore!

Yes, Three times. Not on Little lake though. I would not take it on that lake it is way too shallow. I was out on Thursday with the family from 2pm until 6:30. Even managed to catch a bunch of perch, a smallie and a rockbass on the troll home.

Hey Brian. I did the exact same thing with mine getting her out of the water the first time. I thought I trimmed it up but had a dead battery and with 3 kids talking in the boat I did not hear that the trim was not actually working. I pulled the boat out slowly and heard a clunk. Not cool! Immediatley stopped and managed to hook up a battery booster to get the trim to work. I did however put a small ding in a brand new prop Been out 2 times since and have been very good at remembering to lift the outdrive. My last 3 boats have all been outboards so it was always easy to see if the motor was up or not. Your boat looks good. That storm did dump some rain on us.

Wow, you are right. That is a pike. At first I thought that TJ was just rigging up a shiner for bait but it is not a shiner at all. It is a pike. Are you allowed to use pike as bait up there? lol

Got up early on Wednesday to go fish Little Lake in Barrie. I have only fished it a couple of time in the past few years and once was at night. I used to fish the lake quite a bit 20 years ago. Anyway, I was fishing by 5am and everything started well. By 6am I had 2 little largies and a couple of little snot rockets. By 10 am I still only had 2 largies and only a few more little hammerhandles. I was a bit dissapopinted. I threw everything I had at them. My memory is bad but I remember catching way more bass and pike back in the day. All the pike were the same size (small). Oh well. At 10am I decided to pull the boat out and fish Simcoe for a couple of hours. I only managed 2 small smallmouth but took home a bunch of nice perch. In my opinion Simcoe has actually gotten better for fishing (for bass) in the past 20 years which is a contrast to poor Little Lake. Maybe too much fishin pressure on Little Lake

i usually drop shot them. leeches as well.

Wow. Looks like the motor stayed out of the wter until the truck got pulled out and then the boat flipped over. If that is the case than that kind of sucks as well. Sorry to hear about that though. Good reminder to us to take care on launches.

That carp's good eye certainly makes up for it not having a second one. So let me get this straight. You managed to hook the one-eyed carp in his good eye? Wow, and you thought your day was bad
-
Hey Brian, What is that launch like? Is it good? What about parking?
-
Yeah Heron. They usually don't let yo get that close. Maybe you have crazy zoom on your camera.
-
Is there? I use the 9th line in Oro but you need a parking permit. Good launch though.

Go to six mile. It is a great lake. Just fish all usual spots that look like they might hold fish and you will find that they do.
