  1. Are you kidding me? I am pretty sure when that woodcutter opens up that wolf he will find Little Red Riding hood and her grandma inside and the wolf wasn't even full yet. That is a fact!
  2. Last year, during our annual guys weekend, we managed to write off a 21ft Chapparel after we jumped it 40 over a peninsula. That was not cool. This year we decided not have the midnight cruise. Fishing was fun yet again and my team won the tournament yet again. We managed several species of fish and had a blast. Remember this is not a big lake so the fish aren't exactly massive but still there were good number and we even managed a great Crappie dinner. This is a pic of me retrieving my x-rap stuck to a submerged buoy. I had to get my head underwater while my friend held my feet. He is trustworthy. Here is the greatest contest ever. lol! Not sure if this is legal but it is on the reserve so Iam pretty sure anything goes. This is a typical little snot rocket that we caught all day. Here are some of my little Largies This is the winning largemouth. 15.5" This is the winning smallmouth. Long but thin. It measured exactly 19" long but only weighed 3.04 pounds
  3. Pretty sure that is the proper hold for an 8ft long wolf.
  4. Watch the hit. Reel down so rod tip is near water (this should take about 1.25 seconds) the set the hook like you are trying to rip the fishes lips off. Use a stiff rod and 30 pound braid (most pros will use 50 pound braid). Make sure your hooks are sharp. On some frogs I bend the hooks out a little bit from the body. ***Be careful when you se the hook hard. If the fish has let it go the bait will come straight back at you at about mach 5. I have been hit a few times.
  5. Wow that is a donkey. Did you guys get a weight on it? I would say 6+
  6. Nice fish indeed. Sorry about the loss of a big fish. Hope your girl's face is ok after taking one near the eye. You did well with the frogs. I usually go about 1 fish for every 4 blowups. They can be hard to set on sometimes.
  7. really? Take a look at the anal fin.
  8. You can come fish out of my 1960 12'(actually 11'8) tinner with a 4.5 hp. It leaks a bunch and is very tippy, and I fish on Simcoe (notoriously big waves) but I catch fish. That would be a sweet episode. The camera man would be in tight quaters for sure. haha!
  9. "I'm Mike D. and I get respect Your cash and your jewelry is what I expect!" Name that song. Can you do it Mike D? Dude I really don't mind your show. Keep up the good work. We are all just jealous that you have your own show and we don't. I loved the show when you on Erie and you were in like 50ft of water and you started throwing out the topwater frog (or whatever it was). That was pretty much my favourite thing ever. Well that and the show where you fished that tiny little dam with that fishermom. That was funny too. lol!
  10. And this is a sunfish
  11. Very closely related but not the same fish. The turquoise worm-like pattern under the jaw to the eye area is pretty much unique to the sunfish and not to the bluegill. check the pics first is bluegill
  12. No expert here but I am pretty sure that is a sunfish. I have been wrong before though.
  13. 56" is sick! Nice fish indeed!

    Bass

Secret river. lol Smallies are next but I hear you. Only thing I like better than that is throwing weedless frogs over lilly pads and laydown reeds etc. nice bucket by the way.
  15. I have used them. They have a smooth drag and the amount of twist seems to be reduced.
  16. Ha ha. I am not too worried about any boys yet but in time I might have to be. I can put on a pretty mean face if I have to. I have big friends as well and my collection is growing every year
  17. Looks like I may be buying one this week. We'll see.
  18. You must have a nice camera cause those are some really clear and nice pics Rob.
  19. I got a call from Mark Kulik telling me he had my new St. Croix Mojo rod and he wanted to deliver it personally. Very cool. He came over to my house, talked fishing for a while and gave me my new rod. Mark is a really good guy and we had a good talk. We took a few pics and my family even got in on the pic. lol. The rod is sweet and I can't wit to use it on the opener this Sat. Big shout out to Mark Kulik and of course Karl Kalonka. Very cool indeed. Here are some pics. Mark and Me The rod (my prize from Extreme Angler) My family (the real prize in my life) posing with Mark
  20. I am a high school teacher and we sing everyday. About a 50-50 split English to French versions. Every stops, takes their hats off and stands. I am not adverse at all to bringing the Lord's prayer back either.
