CT in Barrie for sure. Having said that, I was at walmart yesterday and was snooping through some opened boxes of new stock and they had 3 new suffix lines including a fuse, some nice square billed rapala cranks and some cool new spoons. They had 3 packs of big Os for $15 and 3 packs of Walleye divers for $15 as well. I used to work at the old CTC in barrie on Bayfied st when it was 2 levels. The upstairs had a pretty big and well stocked fishing and hunting section. We used to sell loads of guns as well, but that 24 years ago.

I caught a bunch of perch 2 years ago on jelly worms. Worked really well. Having said that, my PB bass was caught on a hotdog

Ford seems to have stepped up recently especially with the engine choices. Go with the base V8. The 5.0 coyote and I think you will be pleasantly surprised. I am not looking for a truck right now but Ford seems to be offering a bunch of insentives as well. just my $.02 PS I am not a ford guy and my Dad actually drives a GMC duramax crew cab

I would actually love to fish with all of you but that would be impossible. Got to make a better effort to get out with more of you guys this year. Hey Rob (kickingfrog), I wish I knew you fished back in highschool. We could have got out a bunch of times. By the time I was 17 my dad let me take the boat out. I would just trailer it wherever and fish. I had a 16' with a 90hp motor and a bow mount and that was back in 1988 - 89. Would have been a good time. Robby Garland and I used to spend many an hour on the rivers and lakes. Didn't even know you fished.

I agree with you but not 100%. I remember dropping about $70 bucks back in the day for a 7' lightning rod. Rods of that quality these days go for about $50. I remember paying $150 for my first baitcaster. Having said that, it still works and is about 25 years old.

I had leaky gulp buckets. Talked to the lady at Pure fishing. Sent an email of a receipt I had for one bucket and told her I could not find the second one. Package arrived at my door with 4 days. 2 new buckets of gulp! I will buy more. Broken Daiwa rod (legit break too). Tried to call and email about the break. Told me to take it to Aikens. Did so and he told me it was not covered. Rod was less than one year old and was expensive enough (team Daiwa). Since that time I have and will not buy another Daiwa anything. Too bad for them.

While I am at it I might as well post his classic "Things you don't say to your wife". He still mentions hunting and fishing so this might be my second favourite fishing song. lol If you have never heard this song, listen to it. Short and sweet.

Last week I got there at 645 and there were already cars parked. Maybe they open at 630. Not 100% sure about that but was def before 7 last weekend.

I have a lindy 48" but to tell you the truth, my IKEA bags work just as well and they cost me $1.00 each. That is just my opinion anyway.

Driving up to work in Penetang today at 8 am was bad. Real bad. I could see about 20 yards in front of me. It was the same snowfall that caused that mess. The lady should not have gotten out of her car. Too bad. That is not nice.
