  1. You are quacked,or maybe you need a quack.LOL I own a pr of them.I guess if your walking in them thier warm, but if your sitting for hours, they aint. Love the vid though, and your country there. Invy is setting in now.
  2. My plan today was to walk in and retrieve my card from the trail cam after work, then move it back out to the field. So I do just that.As I walk out of the greens in the bush, then into the hardwoods,I jump a big doe.I quickly grab my grunt call out of my jacket and give a few calls. She settles down and stops.I watch here for a minute.I decide to see how close I can get to her, when all of a sudden, this big buck jumps out from the same spot.Im thinking they were doing the thing. That was all it took, they were both on thier way, back deep into the far greens. Stupid stupid me, I should know better then not going in without my bow. Ohwell, atleast I know there are still some animals around. The cam produced some turkeys.Yeah, they know the season has passed dont they.LOL Looks like I need to fix the time on the cam.
  3. That was her recreation of her last orgazim with John.
  4. That is one old buck.Man look at the base mass. Nice shooting.
  5. Dont forget about the purty nurses too.LOL See ya when ya get back Bruce.
  6. Wrong scope. http://www.eders.com/products/truglo-4x32-...ings-black.html I was talking about hunting sat/sun,then returning the weekend after.
  7. Nice one there Jay. I,ll be out this coming weekend.Just letting them relax after all the gun fire, thats was around this past week.
  8. The scope gives a bright and clear sight. For those that hunt weekends and leave the light on(red dot) it will be out. Why bother with a battery, when you can get all you need from the Truglo. Thanks Terry. Jocko, how many dots do you have in yours? 3?
  9. That would require fishing Cliff.LOL Love my trail cam,but gives false hope.LOL Doug, Im giving the week a rest.Deer are all squirly right now and the temps suck.Heading out to retrive my card after work Tuesday.Just to see whats up with the scrapes. Im going to move it back to the field.Just want to see if my bucks are still around. I talked to the land owner today at work. His brother, who ownes the property accross the road, had told him, he had a run in with some of the hunters. They pulled the same crap that they did with me 2 years ago.We have permission from the land owner.Thier pop (the land owners that is). He,s been gone 30 years. Im trying to secure this property. I have a date to talk with his brother again. Not sure I can stop the tresspassing, but if they know someone is out there, like they do on the property I hunt, they may not return. Amazing the ignorance out there. Take the grouse. It,s spooking the deer.LOL
  10. IMO, I would not go with a red dot.I have used one for two years.I now use the trueglo scope.Sited in for 10,20 30 and 40 yards. At very low light(legal still) I can see much better with the new scope even the crosshairs, then I could with the red dot. Another draw back. You could forget to turn the scope off, then when your up in your tree, theres no red dot.Battery is dead.
  11. "Talk about fishing, hunting, the great outdoors or whatever you like in here! Keep it clean!" I keep my hunting cloths in a bag, that is stuffed with fresh ceder branches. As for my under clothing. It is washed with baking soda.No scent. Like viper said,I do the same with my drags,
  12. No one is saying, you need to bring one bullet or slug or shell. What I believe most are saying is,a more higher percentage shot, should be taken. You can stop now.
  13. Looks lke a great spot.Lots of cover for them with some good opening for shots. Thanks for sharing bud. Bring the snow.
  14. I just maybe relying on one of those. Thats why I always have my TOOLS in the truck. LOL
  15. Just amagine the carnage the shooters cause, shooting at dogged running deer. I never heard so much shooting as I did this year. You would think there was a hundred of them running around. But yes,I am a believer of one shot, one kill. Marty did well to not lose track of the deer. Congrats again bud. Good points Sink.
  16. Thats hunting Doug. Had a great week, even though theres was no harvest. It,s not always about the harvest, but time to think.I had lots of time to do that. What I mean is,,,,,ah never mind, some things are best unsaid. Something tells me, Im to get a bow harvest. When the corn comes down,i can see it. I will let you in on one secret,,,,,,,,I did catch myself singing to myself, doe a deer,a female male deer ,anything will do,,,,,, Darn you Terry,,,,,,,
  17. Nice job Marty.Congrats bud. It sure was crunchy and slippery this morning.
  18. Your done.now get r done.

  20. Viking makes a good bib pant. If you have a CRS around, they have a good price for them.
  21. Thanks Wayne, but no luck but bad luck today. Headed into the bush and one step went wrong. Slippery fallen tree cost me a twisted and baddly swollen knee.Hung it out for a few hrs,but it started to stiffen up. So off to the walk-in.Wrapped and iced.Off the leg for a couple of days. It would have to happen on the best day of the week.GRRRRRRR Hope Marty got one too.
  22. Best part about this whole hunt Roy,I havent felt sick. Betty maybe right, just needed to get outdoors and kill the germ. Fit of the fittest Wayne. Not enough distance, to worry about that Bruce.
  23. Yep.Like I said,.02 clicks apart.
  24. Can I catch them from a tree stand Bruce? Hope yer feeling better. Nice haul.
