  2. You were fishing with a girl?YUCK. Great report as always Justin. TFS.
  3. I forgot the mushroom. Thanks Roy. To me it shows that hunting is not as easy as one thinks, and what it takes. Heck anyone can catch a fish.
  4. Boy, when I woke up and seen the rain had stopped, and the moon had lite up the clear sky and stars galore,I was jacked to get back out again this morning. There was no dought of todays plan.Hit the climber stand where I seen the does. I arrived early,5:30 am.It was like a light was on, it was so bright.I decided to get to my stand even earllier so not to spook anything,if thats possible. Once I was up the tree I could see as clear as if it were daytime.Made sure to check the time, at all times, to make sure when legal shooting time was.6:30am. The conditions were perfect. Slight breeze to my face, blowing my scent away from the greens. For about an hour and a half after shooting time, it was very quite.Nothing. Then the winds picked up,rain started.Winds got stronger. The change in temps, turned rain, in to hail. There were times while in my stand,I thought the tree might snap.LOL Almost rocked me to sleep.By 11:30, I had enough of the hail, wind and swaying. So I decided to do some walking .So off to the bean field which was cropped Sunday.Wind was to my advantage,so if there was anything there,I might have a chance to set up for when they returned to the bush.No deer where in the field.. The hail still continuing. My next step was to hit the bedding areas.Again, the wind was in my favor. As you can see, they were already there and gone. 5hrs out is still better then none. I could see the dark clouds all the way home at my back. They were heading for Barrie.By the time I got to Barrie and out of CTC, the hail had begone again. I did come accross this mushroom that looked like a flower.Pretty cool. Day three will be here soon enough. Hope Im not boring you.Since I have not contributed with any fishing post,I thought I would share this years hunt. Thanks for reading.

  6. Yeah I heard the same thing this morning.Jerk offs. It was so bright at 5:30 when I arrived,I could walk to my stand with out my ball cap light. Thats too bad about that crap Doug.Ignorant JACK OFFS.Then everyone wonders why it,s NO YOU CANT HUNT HERE. The property accross the road where I hunt,is owned by his brother. He allows no hunting, not even I and have offered to do farm chores, they were blasting out in the field .I heard him start up the tractor. The shooting stopped.Probly to late by then.

  15. It finally arrived.Opener for the shotgun hunt.I tossed and turned all night deciding on which stand to hunt. The field or the climber, which was deep in the bush. After about a 5 hour sleep,I woke up with my game plan. Hit the field at 6am.Stay til 8am. So this is what I did.I figured before all the banging started around the area, the deer just may hit the field first.Well, they didnt. The shooting picked up on the ajoining bushes,so I head to the climber.Thinking maybe they would push the deer onto the properety I was hunting.Get setup. Not 20 minutes goes by,I see legs and abit of body of a deer in the greens. Then a second.Ok it,s going to be over fast............................ Wait, theres more to the story. So the lead deer is just behind a big pine.I figured she was going to round it,and show .As I lift the gun, theres a loud whizzzzzzzzz. There were two more deer just coming up behind them.I would of never thought there would be four deer together.BUSTED. AGAIN I stayed on watch til 3pm.Just blue jays and chickidies. Oh well,it,s only day one.I was out for eight hours. That was good enough for me, as Im almost back to normal now,and dont need to get sick again. Back at it again at 6am. Heres a vid of the area I was hunting today. It,s got some great opening and greens.Good area.
  16. See, told ya. I still like my PSE compound though.
  17. When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers. A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was. The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was. The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.' The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.. 'Now,' said the professor as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house and your car. The sand is everything else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff you will never have room for the things that are important to you.. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with Friends and grandparents. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another 18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal. Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand. One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the Beer represented. The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The Beer just shows you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of Beers with a friend
