Like Albert mentioned in another thread, this weather has made gardening a real challenge. I had 2 pepper plants wilt right down, but managed to care them back to health. They seem to be taking well now. I moved all the plants to a sheltered shade area the past few days. Put out in the sun for a few hours,then back to the shade. Tomatoes are few and none. 2 plants have a few, 1 has none. Peppers are growing. Chives well,I have had several cuts off them and they just keep growing and growing, like grass.LOL Funny how the smallest pot has the 1st and biggest pepper. Hey Albert Have you ever seen the shepherds sold in plant pots ? Next year I want to do that .

I am going to do another turkey one next week. Stuffing is well,going to be on the day. LOL Thanks Chris

Finally a morning were it was over cast and not so hot. Grabbed the fly rod and headed to a shore line access on the bay here. My toon is dry docked til I get back to work and able to order a new bladder . Was nice to just sit with a light drizzle of rain, while flicking the rod and catching what ever would take a fly . Lots of perch and rock bass around for entertainment, and some nice smallies too. Two took a wet fly, the other, which unbutton right after the pic, on a mini leech pattern.

Thats a wrap 4lb of ground beef,filled with cheese and mushroom,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I use to do that on a few courses. Some held trout some had megamongo largies. One course I knew the owner and could fish it late in the evenings for those bass.

Never did get back to that hog bass pond. LOL

Ok Take this as you want as this came to me, and woke me up from my sleep,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Take the reel apart again. Take pics and lay all the parts out on the table like in the schematics pic. My thinking here is this,,,,,,,,,,, Many parts are no longer available , so they say,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Go through all parts putting it back together, STEP BY STEP and take pics or even a video .,,,,,,,,,,,,I have a thinking, someone or some reel guy, replaced a part with that spring. If you say the spring was part of the mix, well, I am thinking a sub part was put in . Do the total break down and rebuild. I want to know what you come up with AK.

Anyone fishing this lake ? I am just curious if they still catch those mutant sun fish there ? I was just thinking about this lake for some reason , and my biggest thrill was catching these huge saucer pan sun fish. I am talking 12" ers .

OMG Albert I always water every day but I guess not enough by what I just did . I just added ( and this is no b s ) 6 gallons of water total in all planters. That is a gallon in each . Finally after this,water was starting to sit on top. I have 2 planters that I never knew would allow water out at the bottom once the soil is saturated. Will be keeping a closer eye and more watering. Thanks my Italian garden guru .

Baby boom has started,,,,,,,,,,, Not sure what up with this pepper. It is growing up ward. Might be the newfie bucket, not sure.LOL I am finding a few tomato buds dying off. Not sure whats up with that . Maybe I trimmed to much ?

Now that, I would give up Simcoe for John.
