    The bay here is still tight, but the big lake is opening up. If this opens up to the shore, I,ll be out fishing perch and smelts next weekend on the toon.

    Powers back on. Just back from a road trip to Oro line 9 and back to Ivy. Now to work through the 70 pictures I took. All I can say is WOW, mother nature did some damage.

    I needed a steamer and dont have one, soooooooooooo Improvise. adapted and over come. Newfie steamer.LOL I need to get a proper steamer, but these dumplings didnt care how they got warmed up. They are so good. Got to learn how to make these myself, but for a couple bucks a piece, Im happy with them being made for me.

    Nice simon. Might I suggest getting yourself a jar of berkley maggots. Would save hauling around minnows ,and Im sure they would work just as well for them tastey slabs. And the pike and eyes will eat them too. Give them a go bud.

    You should of seen the ones up here during sunrise. A fresh skim of ice at the shore. They must of thought it was open water. The geese faired well, the ducks on the other hand, were so comicial.Touch down and on thier ass and a spinarama..LOL

    Heres are pics from yesterday. Upper Simcoe and the Barrie marina. Both spots were making ice. During my coffee at minets point, the ice was pinging and banging.

    Funny. I seen a truck in Barrie this week with that site on his back window. Maybe he was sponsored by them, as he was a member of the Barrie Bassmasters.

    LOL Easter bunny buying for the grandkiddies. Breaky at A&W. Then a drive up 12 for an inspection. few drifts with the pin, then over to Wasaga for another inspection. Another stop to get the bike from the easter bunny. Then lunch, Trip south in the morning to fill the rest of my list. Thanks again Bud.
