LOL 82 We use to stay at the camp ground at the small dam near the locks back then. It,s long gone. I remember many motels along the hwy. All are gone or in shambles. Just last week I took a drive up to Port Loring. It was like the old world never existed. New hwy for the faster commute. At least we have the memories eh.

All these teams these days, want young and speed. They need guys like Yag, to share the wealth he has on how to keep your head on straight. Some one that has been there and done it many times. I like that he has grown back the hair. Nothing wrong with being older, and looking young. LOL

Funny you say that Steve, and had me thinking. Fisherman offered up an old motor for free. Bernie wanted it. So I offered to deliver it up to him, as my parents lived up near him. So I pick up the motor and delivered, on the most crappie of snow days.LOL Delivery got me a gold ticket to a weekend at Bernies. I guess KARMA did play a roll. The old saying, what goes around, comes around. Never do I expect anything back from a good deed.

I always wondered why all manufactures, don't bring back a small sled. Something ice anglers could use, without breaking the bank. Not all of us are trail riders and need speed demin machines. Give the ATV retailers, a run for their money.

Got to talk to a young fella today on the river. Seems yes, the ladder was the issue. Many anglers dropped their gear to get as many fish back into the river. They had the ladder working again by 10 pm .There were some that did not make it sadly.

The sound of the waves crashing could be heard miles up the river this morning. It was soooo loud. Lots of downed trees.

I was offered up some flies from my good friend and member here a few weeks back. Hell, I can always use more flies. So today I finally stopped by to see my good friend. I was not expecting what I got. I got my box of mixed flies and was very happy and appreciative of his offer, but I was blown away, when he also gave me a box that was full of tying materials , along with all the hardware to tie new flies and jigs. WOW Thanks a bunch my friend. Let the you tube fly tying adventure begin. I really want to try making some steel head streamers. WOW

Got a call about the dam or something , and there were a couple hundred dead salmon and steel head. Apparently it,s on face book, but not a subscriber to it.
