I have a brand of tube I love to use for smallies. This one has been my go to for about 6 years now. I bought a pack of the same brand,but it was missing something the other had. For the last 2 years I have been trying to get a fish to bite the one that was missing the added piece of the puzzel,but for the life of me,it will not work. I will be catching,switch up to the other and nothing.

Those wheels have to be worth a pretty dollar.

Marty I would not be to distressed about it. If you can have a switch that is off/on that would be enough. The reason I say this is ,that a well that pumps fresh water all the time,is better then one that recurculates(spelling sucks I now). Learned this a year or so ago,and it is better for the fish.IMO

Common colours are orange,s, blues,s ,greens,s and white. Any mix ,seems to work well. Solids in some cases work better. Live bait will catch anything.LOL

Try that new, Mercer "X" Rap bud.

Pop off the cell caps,are they black?If so then they are crap.Over charging and not keeping them topped up will cause this.

This maybe a problem for some, as they may think there is no one that wants help out there. Lots of times,I will pm, as the info I will give is more or less,for thier eyes only.Also it will be to the ones I know that will not share on a open forum. Once you have been here for a time,Im sure the same will be given to you. This board is wide open ,and giving out alot of info is well,not really what it,s about. We get the ones asking about spots and lakes and where to fish. This as many have said, is a turn off. If you want the hows and whens,then you will get a lot of responses. I fished with alot of guys from this board and on thier spots ,and to me ,thats a great pleasure,and something I would never pass on. Some dont care if I were to revisit myself,some ask not to go to them,I have total respect for that. I have been here along time aswell, got alot of long time friends from here,and it,s a place to share yer day and happenings and get some comfort when needed.

This is so true. Buddy broke off,I casted and wham,the same smallie,with a tube in it,s mouth. Fish are stupid,just like us that buy every friggn lure that is out there,LOL.

I tried that once,but shes still here.LOL Great advice by all. To me, it all depends on the fish you are handling. Bass, I lip,em and take a pic with the lure in the yap,then a quick release.

I dont know if I would come to that conclusion Rich. There has been a lot of die off and I dont think the gobies are in all the waters that the die offs are happening. I will tend to agree they do bottom feed,and they can/could, be sucking up toxin,s off the bottom.
