Not sure on what to expect after a 2 hour drive and a 1 hour portage.I carried the boat and terry carried the rods Terry and I never seen so many great spots and so many buckets. We were starting to get wore out from all the action. They were not big guys,but man did they ever fight. I could not believe it. A 2 pound bucket fought harder then a 4 pound smallie. These fish were on the small side,but very chunky. Didnt take long to figure out the bait of choice. A black 6 inch worm weightless. Even had some fun with the scum frog. What a blast. Sorry Im not much into writting a report today as I have a brutal head cold and my mind is not there. I,ll just say,I cant wait to hit this place again. UNREAL. Hope you dont catch what I had today Terry. Hope I can get through Sundays tourney. Sorry again for the lack of report.

Theres that "NARROW MIND" I am so laughing right now. What gave you that idea C.? You would be surprised how many guys fish with floro/mono. Lots of guys use braid,then tie in floro as their leads. I for one tried it,but not much into reties,so I go straight.

Well if I still had the boat,it would be ,with the new gas prices,$140 for the truck and $160 for the boat for a weekend. Thats if I was doing tourneys on a weekend. As for tackle,thanks for the reminder,I need a few spinner baits.LOL

Im sorry that I did not post this much earlier,but when I was up at Davids kids fishing day,he had the tickets up there for sale. I had asked if he had seen him. David had dinner with the Big Guy that week and said he was in good spirits. I hear now there is some Goverment input for the funds on new drugs. Hope there is some to help out the cost for Big Jim. Theres one word in your sentence that really hits home here and one I will never use again. serious I went through this with my son,on the hockey level. I really pushed and he was enjoying it. When the time came where he didnt care for it,I still pushed ,talked to Jr teams ,as I knew/thought, he could make the next level. So did many others. If they dont want to,then let it be. I still believe he could of gone some where,but hey,it,s his choice. Hope that came accross as a positive for you.
